    Thanks for the review. I just picked up a new ( sat in the local shop waiting fur a good home) tactic. Got it for 500 no box. Upgraded from a pse drive lt. Love it so far. Still getting parts together, sight, stabilizer, and quiver. Loved the info in this review. Well done

    Thank you very much for doing this video. When I bought mine there were not many videos out on it. I love my tactic. Beats my 1980 bear. I shot multiple expensive bows and this by far with the price and feel was the best bang for the buck.

    I’m stuck between the Mathews Tactic and the Darton Cyclone 2022. Which would you guys recommend? Thanks.

      I got a Legacy solocam and currently using Halon32 5. I love the halon and would really love the VXR31.5 maybe next year idk. Not impressed w the new bows that came out today. The only thing I noticed was they offered something in a 7” brace height. Otherwise they just made slightly different VXR bows with new names if you ask me. Why the lame marketing nonsense. The VXR is fucking amazing. Just let it settle for a couple years. These bows are made to last a lifetime, we don’t need a new model every day. That’s how I feel anyways. The Halon32 is a few years old but I always wanted that bow. And it’s not a drastic difference than the VXR so I got it

      It’s a Mathews I’m not sure why that’s a surprise. The MSRP was $849, however most bow shops were selling them for less. A local shop near me had them for $759 and recently put them on sale/clearance for $599.
      Mathews structures their company much like Bowtech…they have their Mission line of true budget bows that are very adjustable, just like how Bowtech has Diamond. They’re not going to introduce a $600 Mathews branded bow that competes with their own Mission MXR. I think at $849 it’s a ridiculous price as well, which is why I’m watching this 2 years later and they’re being sold for $599.

    849 why not spend 150 more and get top of line Mathews

    • @that1runk492
      @that1runk492 Před 4 lety +1

      The top of the line VXR is higher than $1000 also considering these are bare bows so you'll also be spending for the sight, rest, stabilizer, and quiver. Big difference once all is set and done in price point of setting up the tactic vs vxr.

    I would love a head to head against the Mission MXR. Similar specs. Is the Mathews worth the extra cash?

    I'm looking for a new bow. I have 4 bows I'm looking into:
    Hoyt Torrex,
    Mathews Tactic,
    PSE Drive NXT,
    Bear Whitetail Legend.
    What's your opinion on these bows?

    • @DontTreadOnMe9000
      @DontTreadOnMe9000 Před 3 lety

      The Bear Divergent EKO is also a contender

    • @scotteger6271
      @scotteger6271 Před 3 lety

      I don’t think they answer on many videos. That said you listed bows that fall into different categories. The Torrex and Drive are pretty similar, Tactic and Divergent are similar then the Whitetail is very different. Not to say the whitetail is a bad bow, but it’s a budget package bow from Bear, albeit one that uses better quality Trophy Ridge accessories than something like a Cruzer or Species. You’re not going to find a Tactic or Divergent as a factory package…possibly a bow shop made package. The Torrex (regular not XT) and Drive would fall somewhere in between, as Hoyt has a decent package version of the Torrex…just that the Fuse accessories aren’t quite as nice (my opinion only of course).
