I was 4/5 years old having very obvious symptoms of separation anxiety, gets diagnosed with it at 13, still having it at 25..... To this day if away from home or my mom for too long I can very easily get to the border of a panic attack and maybe get physically sick. Sadly due to my separation anxiety if someone I'm close to dies my grieving process is a lot longer than normal. It is the same if it's an animal I in a way relyed on, I barely ate for 4 days after my hamster passed away and I grieved my rabbit's euthanasia like how I did when my nana passed, I completely dissociated from everything and became emotionally numb. I was way too excited to get my rabbit's ashes, I got comfort from having him back like how it was to get him back after his neuter...
