Yes, after owning this truck in pristine condition for well over a half year - it is time to break in the Virgin Project Large 2.0. It is a beautiful 4x4 Truck (gas powered), and is exceptionally priceless to me. But, in preparation for this video - I took another video to maintain the memory: • Video An RC is meant to be used - so let's get filled with gasoline - and START THiS BEAST UP!
It's only proper that I have EvTek with me. He is a 5th scale BOSS, and knows this truck inside and out. He is always exceptional with the amount of knowledge he has, and I couldn't have found a better mechanic to ensure my 5th scale rigs are running top notch. It's a constant battle maintaining these rigs, especially with our kind of Alberta Soil that we race on.
I just want to say it's been a blast having this 5th scale rig on display for 6 months - I have enjoyed it immensely. Now, let's get out there and start it up!

Can't believe this was 4 years ago. Remember watching it sitting in our tiny house we rented with no heat. Lol! Not sure why that memory stuck with me.
That is definitely the sweetest 5ive-T I have ever seen!!! Wish I could afford to build something like that!!! I can't even afford to replace any of our short course truck's that were stolen!!! (single parent with full custody) My son is crushed. His Traxxas Slash 4x4 gone, his Kyosho Ultima SC6, and his Team Associated RC8B3E Buggy. His racing season has now came to an obvious screaching halt. At 12 years old, his rc car's are his most favorite thing and favorite thing to do with dad. Well until they were stolen. 😠 Now we have no rc's!!! They even took our Lipo's and chargers. And this happened at a race where you'd think you can trust people.

That's one sweet 1/5 scale Truck!!! Nice location and a nice track, also!! Looks like a place to never want to leave!! Play with the RC's and than just sit back an chill out, while having some drinks and relax looking at the fields, LoL!!!
i'd say just leave the needle settings in the stock position for break in. maybe adjust the idle screw a bit. but it should really wake up around the 3rd or 4th tank for sure. i have a g320rc reed on the way so i have to go through the same process soon. awesome vid fellas.

Medic, you are going to love that OBR 9.7 H.P "Widomaker"(Dubbed so by OBR). I have one in one of my FG Sportsline's and it is amazing how much more torque and H.P it has compared to the Zenoah 23cc or the 26cc engines considering as it is only 30.5cc. Taking into account that OBR also makes an 8H.P 30.5cc engine (which I think you have in Large 1.0). Which isn't much of a displacement difference from the Zenoah's (or other brands and knock-offs) when compared to the performance gains even with the 8 HP model. Pricey engines, but well worth the money.
I watch Kevin Tolbert a guy from the UK n he doesn't warm his up as long as you do I heard your sposed to take your time what happens if you don't wait I was just curious n also if you never watched him check him out he goes bonkers on his reviews n stuff I love watching both you guys

Good works boys. Normaly i build customs bajas (Body Count and Atlas on OBRS block) but after this great video your boys have done, i want to build a Losi too. Love your videos and get to work and do som more sf that ;)

For the mesh mod try using Sugru it's a silicone putty like playdoh but will stick to anything and is cold heat water and fuel resistant... Sets to a hard rubber so will flex absorb vibration etc... So far I've used it for many things in RC fixing shell corners /splits sealing nitro fuel tanks putting a lens ring on my camcorder fixing a bluetooth earpiece that I stepped on lol... RCYAL8R

FYI the bigger bubbles exhaust pipes are bc you are running a 2-stroke engine. They are meant to increase power. You hear 2-stroke class motocross ppl like myself talking about the “power-ban” that’s the rev range when the engine speed is peak for highest amount of torque and just rocket like power and acceleration. That bubble like pipe is not meant to silence or muffle in any way. The only “muffling” I saw was the plug like mod I saw in one of the other vids you made with the guys gorgeous red paint truck he had. Remove that plug and the. You’ll see a true power ban from that motor. 😁 love the hobby. Just rather spend my time on the real deal though. But it’s cool.

Sounds silly, but hopefully next week I will purchase a Woodster widebody for my 5T, I will do my best to replicate BJ Baldwins trophy truck, If it's good enough I would love to send you pictures, I'll do as much as I can with stickers but there will no doubt be some painting involved, direct from a spray can and it will be a basher. hence why the stickers.
I have the 9.5hp full mod from OBR and it rips! The sound of yours is almost identical to mine, you know that sounds BbbbbbaaadddAAAASSS!....

I need help with my tracks E-Revo brushless edition. It has recently started to make a clicking noise when the wheels move in the same direction. The noise is gone when the wheels don’t move in the same direction.

What gearing are you using at the moment i have the Finlay performance EVO RC40 and had 20/56T now on 20/54T I think I need a 23/54T but interested to see what you are going to try. I have my Widowmaker in my HPI Baja 5SC and not sure on what is going to work best.
