Fit with an OBR 8.2 Full Mod Reed Case Engine (30.50cc), a 7200 2S Lipo & Super Bee Kill Switch (Killer RC), a Hand Rolled Bartolone Stinger Exhaust, Dual Servo Setup from DarkSoul Racing, RC4WD Micky Thompson Tires Mounted on Proline Racing Desperado Rims (Skunkworks Bead lock ring) - CraftWerk RC Hub extensions / lock nuts - Phat Dad Dogbones/CVD's.. Losi Aluminum Hubs (all around...) and to top it all off.. A HEMiSTORM PENTA BODY.. Custom made.. right from Hemistorm. SO SWEET!
My good friend and experienced 1/5th Scale Guru - Everett, (AKA " Tek" on the forums) & I Lugged this big Bugger out into the Cold.. and Get a chance to start it up on camera for everyone to enjoy. YES... IT IS THE FIRST TANK OF GAS.. (Other than OBR Running a Tank or two through the Engine- prior to shipping) - This rig is being Broken IN .. and will continue to be tuned and broken in over the next few months. The Temperatures in this video were about -10F and -18c.. Quite cold! BUT.. Everett and I wanted to Leave 2012 and Enter 2013 with a BANG.. and something AWESOME FOR THE VIEWERS! PROJECT: "LARGE" is ALiVE!!

Oh cool nice facility! I'm in the US and we race 1/8scale nitro/ electric. My home track is State line RC in indiana.ive been thinking about getting a 1/5scale just bash around probably a Rovan with a King motor! Pretty cheap$ for a 1/5scale! Your track is awesome

I spent 7 months working on the losi 5ive t, and I finally achieved converting it into electric and oh my god...its like a slash 4x4 but monster size lol
That Losi 5t is probably worth as much as my first car is going to be worth. -_-

it can get wet on the outside, but if it sucks in plenty of water it can cause major engine damage

This is my first time getting to see this video and it is just awesome. All of your videos have influenced me enough, I have decided to start some shows also. I fly planes and have been in the hobby for 11 years. I have decided to start a channel with a twist on RC planes like no one else has done. I think it will be entertaining. Watching you for the past year I have gathered a lot of knowledge from your shows and what really makes it tick. The fixed wing world of RC has taken quite a hit because of all the DIY drones available. You have given me a lot of ideas on how I might pursue it and be able to succeed. Thank you for being such a great representative of all the fine folks in the RC world.

A lot of parameters go into how well a rig runs. Outside temp, ambient temp, humidity, altitude, fuel, plug, carb adjustment, air filter, exhaust system, and weight of the rig. I have several Nitro rigs, and they will run differently every time I take them out, especially if there is a major temp change.
Great vid man. Love the comedy, and all the add-ins that only those who follow all the vids really understand. You put out such an excitement and enthusiasm for this hobby it is crazy. Best of luck to you and jem for the new year.

I have a smaller scale version of this, bought it in phoenix and ran it in Mexico, handled the sand quite well, soon to run in Canadian snow!

truck turned out awesome!!!!! sounds flipping sweet. I would imagine it would be harder to do with a large engine like that but with my nitro's i wrap the heads with sock to keep em warm in the winter. helps a lot.
Quick-fix: Put a throttle return spring on your throttle slide or linkage. It will keep the throttle from being stuck at full without stopping the engine. A failsafe kill-switch is really only needed if the car loses its signal, which with modern DSM radio equipment only happens if you forget to charge your receiver pack on a nitro or gas powered car or if your transmitter batteries die.

Great video! The motor sounds great. It'd really rip with a little more tuning. The LED lights look sweet. The body and paint job is awesome.
I thought this was the nicest losi 5t but somewhere out there theres an even better one. It has hand guns on the bonnet blowing smoke and the guy had everything anodized seriously beautiful. Still large is awsome too.
