If you go for Amorim instead of Slot then you clearly have no clue how talented Slot is hehe Everybody in the Netherlands, and not just in Rotterdam, think extremely highly of him, not just as a coach, but also as a person. Ask his players what they think of him... and that's a coach you want to win matches for. The guy is a genius and very likeable.

Feyenoord supporter here, mate, don't worry. Slot is nothing like Ten Hag. First, he is fluent in English. Arne Slot has done great job at Feyenoord. We struggled to place for Europe in the season before. And after he joined we went to the final of the conference league. Year after that we became champions and this year we won the cup. The whole of the club is organised and set up to learn his type of play.
All the favorites are dropping away - Alonso, Amorim.
Tomorrow, even Arne Slot may drop away.

Bringing Amorim in would be a massive change due to the back 3... meaning we need to hire CB, mostly a lefty and sale CM (we would have Endo, Mac Allister, Szobozlai, Jones, Elliott, Gravenberch, Bajcetic, and Mortons for only 2 CM... without taking care of Trent, who wishes to play in the middle of the pitch...
Ok, Elliott and Szobi or maybe Jones can play higher... But except the Hungarian, I don't see any of this players dealing with the edwards/pedro gonçalves role...

Iâve been scanning over Arne slot & I canât see him making it here! He needs to know us & the premier league & how much we go for the jugular. But after scanning he has not that ambition for pushing forward. His last 10-15 games (apart from last game 6-0 win) itâs always winning by 1 goal, rarely 2! & the style of play he does, I can see good managers (pep, arteta, emery) working him out & tearing us to shreads!

You know nothing about the guy, clueless monkey. Everybody in the Netherlands, and not just in Rotterdam, think extremely highly of him. What about Unai Emery? He's doing well at Villa, has experience of the Premier League and is a proven winner. He seems a better bet than Slot
Why are we so hell bent on writing off a manager before theyâve even joined us or had a fair crack at the job? Itâs going to be an absolutely huge task for whoever comes in after 1 of the best managers on the planet. No matter who comes in, it will be pure graft to keep us going. Alonso is in favour of staying in Germany another year, with him gone, there is no favourite. We were all led to believe that Amorim was the favourite but letâs be honest, none of us had a scooby who he was & then weâre suddenly all behind his appointment. Letâs all stop pretending & doing character assassinations before anybody is appointed. Whoever the next man to take the helm is, letâs get behind the appointment regardless. Weâve seen how toxic an environment fans at other clubs can create all because they canât get behind a new appointment. Letâs just let the people in charge pick a man, then as supporters, letâs do what we do, support. Bored of listening to people write off a manager all because theyâve never heard of him or seen his team play. Let the football do the talking & weâll be there, just as we always have been, as fans of this club through thick & thin.

He came and developed his strategy and this players.. you can see them all around the best teams in Europe, Matheus Nunes, Pedro Porro, Nuno Mendes, JoĂŁo Palhinha, Ugarte.. he gave a 2nd live to Saravia , and this is only the players that allready left Sporting... He valued the club and the current squad so much... Sporting in 4 years came from a broke club with no ambitions to a 2 times champ, good performances in Eu competitions and so much more .. i really want him to stay, but if needs to go, i whould like to see him in a top club like Liverpool, instead of weat ham

@@Chisky001 When Portuguese league is more stronger? You do know that currently the Dutch competition is ranked higher by the UEFA than the Portuguese league, right? More experienced? Slot has played champions League, reach one quarter final in Europe and one Final, he has no lack of experience.
