Craig...Amorim joining West Ham...its not surprising at all. I did say that Amorim turned down the Liverpool job knowing that he cannot emulate Jurgen Klopp. He knows he doesn't yet possess enough experience to handle such a big job where the pressure is 10 times more than Sporting Lisbon. Thats why going to West Ham is a better move for him to gain that experience to prepare him for bigger jobs in the future. After all, he is only 39 years old. Likewise Alonso too is in the same situation. So for Alonso, staying back at Leverkusen is a no brainer. Liverpool now have no choice but to look for a top rated manager...someone like Zidane or Hansi Flick or Niko kovac. These three gentleman are very experience having won many titles. But their main strength is they were also the managers for very big clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. For Zerbi or Ange...doubt they would dare to take this Liverpool job with that much pressure. Liverpool needs to act fast as time is now running down. The premier league is now down to the final lap with just a few more games to go. The new manager must be sign fast to bed him in for pre-season.

If we need to bring someone for 1-2 years, for a long term manager, then there are options such as Mourinho, Benitez, etc. Especially with the likes of Edwards back, signings will still follow the philosophy rather than just the manager's interests. These type of managers will not waste the 1-2 years. Having said that, I don't believe there's any chance we can guarantee a manager in 1 or 2 years time like Alonso, etc. So it'll only be my option, if we cannot find any suitable long term candidate right now

What most people are not taking into this equation is the "happy wife, happy life"-part. London is among the cities in UK with the best weather. Just do the research. Amorim and his wife are from sunny Portugal. People from sunny countries are prone to dread living in rainy and grey weather cities. Amorim's wife is a business woman with her own company focusing on high end interior design, its obvious London would be a more attractive city than Liverpool for her business potential. London is the business capital of the world. Case closed. I believe Amorim will choose West Ham as his first PL club. (Not the same pressure as in a "top 4 club")

Craig has always said these were his views, do supporters with some comments I have seen blaming Craig, do some believe he has a red direct phone to FSG offuce, or owners ring Craig and tell him what is going in, these have been Craig's views, and who he would like a our new manager. So stop blaming Craig because we didn't sign certain players, or possible managers.

I would go for Marco Rose, he’s proven himself in the Bundesliga and European competitions, and he’s only 47 years of age.

Amorim, only 2 reasons I think he would choose West Ham over us, either we don’t want him OR he’s scared to take such a big job. Either reason, if true, don’t want him
