Liverpool Fan here: Yes I would take Jose, I said it soon as Klopp was leaving, now that all the managers that the FANS WANT are not available Jose is the man for the job - still a big manager - players will respect him, OUR DEFENCE is not the greatest this season leaking goals left right and centre - Jose can sort that out instantly - we have the fire power already, he would put Trent straight in midfield where he belongs - shake up the midfield teach them how to Hold and defend properly - sorry LFC fans but the way we leak goals only Arsenal and City can throw the title away - we will be lucky to win the league this season - and if we lose - it's because of the defence simple as that - we need to learn how to hold onto a 1 - 0 result instead we are always stressing even if we are 2 - 0 up, it all needs to change (JOSE AND PLAYERS WILL LOVE EACH OTHER AND THE YOUNG KIDS WILL STILL GET THEIR CHANCE)

Jose is an undoubted character with admirers and critics in equal measure. My objection to him at Liverpool is that he is a manager for 'in their prime' players. He isn't a man who specialises in bringing through young talent as he only hangs around for three years maximum. As the reds don't have the funds of City, they need to bring through players before they reach their peak sell price, and that isn't Jose's game.

He knows how to neutralise and strangle great teams and motivate players who are loyal to him. In short, he knows how to navigate tournaments and win trophies. As soon as he came away from Chelsea for the first time he admitted that he was a completely different character to the person who people saw while he was a manager and said that it was a bit of a charade.
You saw how he was on the subject of Liverpool during his analysis of the Liverpool 4 Barcelona 0 match - and he couldn't have been more enthusiastic and complimentary about the Anfield club or their manager.

Jose at Roma brought quality players to Roma on the cheap.
He will find those professional footballers willing to come and play a role at a great club like Liverpool.
There are many talented players in Leagues around Europe still to be tapped.
All fans want, is to win trophies and Jose will adapt the tactics to suit the squad available.
At Spurs, Kane/Son combo broke record for goal/assist contributions in a season under Jose.
Liverpool owners, would not go wrong hiring Jose on a short term 1/2 year contract readying the squad until Xabi Alonso is willing to come???
Like Mou preparing Real Madrid for Zidane success!
Next year requires a winning manager to stabilize the club near the top - no risks.

Jose for England could happen. Imagine ‘Sir’ Gareth if England win despite him. Stay on to go for WC glory? Ask Sourness to speak to Danny Boy to see if he would like Southgate as Pool manager? There is a vacancy, but somehow the MSM not pushing that clickbait story. No mention of how he’d be good at Chels with all that young talent that needs galvanising. No let’s inflict him on United. I’d rather have the tea lady/man than have Southgate. He is Championship level at a push, but he does dress smartly and does doff his cap to the blazers.

I used to almost hate Simon Jordan, but I've really started to like him, and agree with him between 50-75% of the time, depending on the topic. However, I love these 2 together, they're a very equal match for each other, and it always makes for an entertaining show. It's verbal sparring, and neither of them likes to give the other an inch, but it used to be very heated and almost hateful, because they despised each other. Now it's absolutely brilliant, and far better, and all because they became friends, over the noblest of causes. Souness met a little girl called Debra, who has a horrible, horrific condition, where her skin peels off constantly, all over her body, leaving her with tremendous pain because her body is always red raw all the time. So Souness decided to raise money for the condition called Epidermolysis bullosa, by swimming the full 21 miles of the English Channel at 70 years old 👏👏. He invited Simon Jordan up for a charity event, and to Simon Jordans credit, he went to the event and donated money. Souness raised over £1m, and Simon Jordan was impressed at Souness completing the 21 miles and swimming for 12hrs 17mins. That charity event has made the dynamic between the two of them far better, because they are friends now. It's still verbal sparring, but far more like banter, instead of distain.

The players have given up completely after the United fa cup loss and there was an immediate te drop in performance from the moment he announced he's leaving.
