Dude I just got the power wand liner full set 2 days ago, after lining with cast iron coils for 19 years I’m really impressed with this thing. Lined a sweet piece today with it using a 9rl and a 7 bug liner for some small script, I’m old school so I ran it short off the tip of the cartridge, blew my mind how nice it laid it in.
I got a critical battery for my hawk thunder too so today I did my first ever full wireless session haha super stoked on the wand tho, it was a nervous wait wondering if it was worth the $$

I love the bishop wand liner . I started with rotary, but I eventually played around with coils . I can see the debate and why coils would be a better choice . But the bishop wand liner is a very fine machine truly amazing . And thank you , cheers mate

What voltage do you run for the wand liner
When you move the grip back and forth that isn't a adjustable stroke that's adjusting the needle depth.the liner had a set 5mm stroke direct drive faulhaber motor.the packer has 4.2mm stroke same motor as the liner then the shader has the "tiny pancake" 2607 faulhaber motor with a 3.5mm stroke.figured I'd just add that for ya.i agree the bishop liner is absolutely phanomanal!!!so is the packer and shader.i went from fk to bishop and I'll never switch again.love my machines.i really enjoyed this review man.very informative and up to par.im gonna go ahead and follow man cause I'd like to see what ya think six or eight months down the road

Can you use tight 1 to tight 3 rl on it?
I wanna know how u got that wand to even start with a mast battery pack?I have a peak forge c battery and it doesn't run my liner consistent.so I just went out grabbed the v2 b charged and two shorty criticals.this is truly first video I've seen with a more generic battery running that motor
It runs it just fine honestly but I only use that mast battery when I’m on fake skin lol . I have a critical atom I use when I tattoo and a critical battery pack but it’s for my Cheyenne so I can’t use it with the wands . I have had that mast for ever . And honestly the only reason I don’t use it 24 /7 is because it cost 50$ . Other then that it’s great
@@jacobcaso that's good to know.i always Wondered if there was aore generic battery pack that was actually worth the cash.i have a couple arena batteries I run on my bronc v7 and my bishop shader and they work great but still about 70 a pop so not to generic when it comes to price lol.gonna definitely pick up one of those mast batteries tho so thank u and thanks for the response
Yeh it works, but if you have a better one I would use it for sure!
Only problem with the power wands is that you can’t take them apart to clean them like the OG wands
Why not I take mine apart and get it cleaned? Never had an og wand
@@jacobcaso I have an OG wand and you can easily access the motor to clean the plunger bar, I spoke to bishop and they said you can’t do that with the power wands without voiding the warranty. Obviously if you’re not touching the back of the cartridge you shouldn’t have to be cleaning it very often but it was still a nice feature that they discontinued
what voltage do you run the liner at?
6-7 maybe 8 with bigger groupings
Also I don’t like to push smaller groupings at all with the machine like say 3 rl or bugpin 7 if I do like 4.5 volts
