hard agree. nothing comes close to a quality well tuned coil when it comes to lining. single pass lines allll the time

You’re the only person that talked about stroke difference between coil and rotary. That’s because it’s linear motion with sharper hit towards end of the amplitude. With rotary needs extra inertia from stroke revolution. Only way to get more power out of the hit is to increase stroke. I tattoo the same way using coil for lines. Color packing with a well tuned shader coil is great too. Much more effective then a rotary. Any realism is best with a rotary tho.

Coils will ALWAYS be better for lining, I thought that was common knowledge.

I tried to line with a coil machine but it seems like the disposable plastic tubes are too shaky and it’s effecting the line result . Does it worth it without iron grips?

100% agree i have 3 rotaries and...almost 12 coils machines. They are just better, cost less, and work forever. And linig is just amazing with a coil, when you ajust the spring perfectly you just have to let the machine do the work for you..

Have you tried sidewinder rotary machines with spring for lining? In rotary machines needle speed actually slows down in the lowest point when it is hitting the skin because of circular movement of axle. So the needle is slowing down when it should be hitting fast and it does not penetrate skin so easy. In rotary you have to have longer stroke and use quite high rpm.s to line. In coil machines needle movement comes to sudden stop, because armature bar hits the coils. Because of this,needles speed is fast when it hits the skin, so they penetrate the skin easier. Sidewinder machines with spring have similar sudden stop in the low point of the needles movement. They also make buzzing noise because of that like coils. Some manufacturers make sidewinder machines with cam, but with cam it functions just like other rotary machines.

Bro I have all 3 wands liner ,shader ,packer I mainly use my packer BUT I’m having a hard time using the liner wand , I have a quick speed wit line work since I’m use to lining wit a coil ,. What volts do u recommend using the liner ?I mainly use 3rl and 5rl and have a quick hand speed

Yo man. So i recently got all 3 wands. All as u described. Excellent. Have u ever had ne of them "dip" ..?? It sounds like the battery is "dipping" or hopefully not the motor. Its happened on all 3 which makes me think i may have a faulty battery.. ????

Only problem with the power wands is that you can’t take them apart to clean them like the OG wands

I do love the liner wand but the acus is all the wands it is amazing i like the m+2 with the 4.5 is better then the wand liner and the 4.1 is like a packer with m+1 and the shader is like the 3.7 m-2 and u have everything else in between its also super clean cause u can take it apart and cold sterilize or slsp into the autoclave

Good tattoo bro but you would get way more cleaner lines if you take in less ink in cartridge when you dip so you can actually see where your line is going so you can get the cleanest lines possible 💯

Thank you! And I used dynamic regular and triple black for ever I have tried eternal blacks and duvet black by intense the diver black was so black but it was hard to work with very thick pigment . I like dynamic it’s good solid black and it’s thin easy to use doesn’t clog up carts. Thanks for support man!

I tried kuri for lining I wasn't impressed at all.i just recently switched from dynamic triple black and moms black Pearl to allegory and lemme tell ya that ink is black black.its darker then alot of other inks on the market.i do like big sleeps and xtream makes some absolutely phanomanal black ink.when this big bottle of allegory is gone I'm gonna grab the xtream blacks cause I've seen them healed and was very impressed by the healed results.this is a great video man.keep these coming man.i like how you showed and explained everything before as well.

I wanna know how u got that wand to even start with a mast battery pack?I have a peak forge c battery and it doesn't run my liner consistent.so I just went out grabbed the v2 b charged and two shorty criticals.this is truly first video I've seen with a more generic battery running that motor
