- Ready for tension to be applied on the quads, hamstrings and glutes? Leg day let’s get ready!
Goal: Perform every single rep with the best range of movement you can without losing alignment. The slower and deeper the better!
The timer will be on for 60 seconds per exercise within the circuit and 30 seconds rest inbetween each exercise!
We simply perform the circuit for 3 rounds in total!
The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 1 x 30kg for the Sumo Deadlift Squats and 2 x 15kg dumbbells for everything else!

Hands down, this is the best series!! Love 30min, as it fits into my crazy schedule and building solid muscle. Wishing for Iron # 2 please!!
Hi Natasha...it’s been a brilliant series...but I do miss my Sunday HIIT! And I enjoy things like pyramids and complexes and giant sets...and also bodyweight workouts which we haven’t done in iron series! I’ve really enjoyed iron...but there are other things that we haven’t done in the last six weeks that I really enjoy too! For 30 minute workouts I actually preferred epic heat! Totally with you Natasha, the other series were perfect to lead into this with the understanding, form & stability to get so much from this in such a short time I’ve noticed immense improvement, undoubtedly from such a good foundation preparation. I love this Series! 💥
Hi Natasha. Totally with you about the IRON series. Loved every day of this series. Like you it fits into my busy daily schedule perfectly and still gives me time to do the add on if I want or some yoga which I haven't had time to do with the other series. ✅👍💯
I love it as well - especially because I almost never have to modify as its mostly lifting and almost no bodyweight. I think its a great 6 week program! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I will probably repeat it at some point soon!
@@matthewalmond8274 definitely doesn’t hurt to mix it up with some of the workout types you mentioned. I think its great the Iron series is out there, so we can always go back to it for solid lifting. I will incoprate more hiit / cardio in the coming weeks though ato switch it up!Plus maybe add some longer complex workouts as well, as I love those!
Yesterday was Caroline’s 600th video...what a fantastic effort...just think how much work and planning has gone into every single one! And today for her 601st we have a brilliant lower body session! Hello Matthew, it just seems like the other day, 600 workouts hard to believe guess when you are enjoying something you don't realise how fast time flies, feel so blessed to know Caroline she is an amazing human being her selfless cannot go unnoticed, today's workout looks tough but am sure we going to smash it, happy Monday and enjoy the workout.

I've read endless comments on how good Caroline's workouts are and after having completed the epic 2....I've seen the results myself
I just wanted to take out some time and tell Caroline's that her workouts have been such a blessing
I stated epic 2 with 2kgs dumbells and now i can do exercises with 6kgs
Ik 6 isn't a lot but sure theres a lot of progress and I'm so proud of these little progress

My legs were jelly after finishing this one. I went for my usual walk after the workout and halfway through the walk I had to turn around. I wasn't sure I'd make it back home if I did my usual route! 😄

Morning Devansh wasn't it fantastic and tough at the same time!! Those lunge holds were really tough. My favourite was the step ups. What a finisher. Burned like hell. Abs add on done too. Legs like jelly now 🥵
Round 2 of IRON and this one is a killer! WHOA are my legs fried right now! I was able to increase my weights all the way through and definitely did more reps than my first round. I love this series SO much!! Thank you, Caroline!!

I was dreading this workout because I am not a big fan of leg days. But once my muscles got warmed up I really enjoyed the workout. Thank you for giving it to us.
I have done all of Caroline's series, Im repeating iron series and (for me) is the best one by far... very complete and focused on building muscule. Great workout

On the days when I don't feel like doing anything (for work, or for myself) I still keep doing Caroline's workouts so at least at the end of the day I know that I have done (/achieved) something and it feels good... 🌈

Can’t believe it’s the last week again…..definitely absolutely love this series. I mean, I would not be doing a second round if I didn’t like it the first time around. This series of all is definitely the one! Hope there will be something similar. The time is just perfect!

Pregnant with twins. I’ve had to come down on my weight by half, sometimes 75%. Ugh. 11 weeks to go! I’m still doing it. That’s gotta mean something!

I just hit 6months pregnant, good for you working out in the first trimester---I stopped working out for three months lol, finally got back into it during 2nd trimester, and love Caroline Girvan's stuff! Caroline, you were not kidding when you said that it would be the toughest leg day of the series so far!!! It was absolutely killer!!! I did some modifications on my dumbells and ended up with 19,5 kg each side for the holds and the lunges and 30 for the squats and Rdls. So much burning and challenging though, those holds!!! Real torture😄 But the feeling in the end, cannot be described with words!!! Liked the change on the 3rd circuit between lunges and step ups. It gave the intensity another boost!!! Let's go for upper body tomorrow!!!

Those holds with the lunges holy moly Whibley wobbly's burning!!! I went with a 100lb bar for deadlifts and sumos and2x30lb kb for the lunges🥵 Thank you Caroline for bringing the awesome

I loved every second of this workout! Ordered 2 sets of heavier dumbbells yesterday! (2x 25lb and 2x 30lb) since my 20lb ones now feel too light for both my lower AND upper body!!!!

I think you will appreciate it Tony 🙄 it was quite demanding but we met that demand and smashed it🥵🥵 lunge hold the toughest for me as was the finisher but loved step ups. Abs add on done too. All set for the day. Hope the legs keep pedalling today to get you to work😊😊

I love every series Caroline does. They each get better. This, so far, is my favorite but I said that about every series. I’m having so much fun and feeling stronger each day. She’s so creative! I don’t want this one to end, but I’m looking forward to what’s coming next.
I love Iron!!! The progress I have made since my first Caroline video on August 26, 2021 is unbelievable. At 70 years old my lower body is now strong enough that I can get up off the floor without using my hands - that’s something I was never able to do in my entire life! Thank you, Caroline! Your training is a gift that I will treasure forever. Amazing!

Yes!! I started moving about 7kg per arm, and now I'm comfortable with 10kg and 12kg. Yes, it is true that for shoulders the progress is not much, and even depending on the day, I can lift something less... But I am super happy with this series and my development. I combine it with dance routines, to do a couple or three weekly cardio routines and daily yoga. So yes, Iron Series works, and it does it very well!!!

My first time doing Iron, I was using 10-12lbs. This time around, I've been using 15-20lbs and WOW! I forgot how much Day 26 🥵~BURNS~ 🥵 Definitely one of my favorites!!!!!
Caroline, this is my first time leaving a comment on CZcams. I want to thank you for these great workouts. Epic III was the first set of workouts I have ever followed. Your body is the ideal body I want to have after having two kids I was size 10 and after finishing EpicIII I am now size 6 and I am very toned. The scale only went down by 5 pounds. I did do intermittent fasting and took control of my thyroid. Thank you❤️ my 6 year old said he wants to give me the WWE belt to celebrate.

Good Morning Caroline and everyone! It is sad knowing that we are on our last week of Iron however knowing how much we have developed and accomplished is very rewarding and we will forever remember this and be grateful for all the hard work Caroline put in each of her workouts. I am excited for the future as for sure Caroline has more surprises for us. Today's leg day has got to be very challenging, staple exercises but they do get harder as we go with each circuit. I'm very excited to complete this in the evening and I will give it my all.

Legs are dead, 😅 33kg barbell and 2x15kgs, that was some killer circuits, the holds were the hardest today, but enjoyed round 3, going from lunges to step ups that burned craaaaaaazy, I felt my adductors on fire more than my quads on this round 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Awesome finisher, 👌💯💣dripping in sweat, and ready to take on the rest of the day now 😁🤩

Day 26 Smashed! Really Demanding leg sesh! Those Lunge holds followed by Alt. Rear Lunges were Killer. Legs were shaking. Loved the Step-ups. Tough Finisher. Feels So Accomplished after this workout! Also did 10min. Ab add-on and it was def. Intense. First time doing it and Ouch! 😁

Morning Trish hope you rocked this. I loved it but found those lunge holds tough tough! My favourite was the step up but by the last set it was ouch🥵🥵 loved the variety here but the finisher really was the finisher....the burn was unreal. My legs are like jelly now. Add on done too. 10 min abs. Thank you Caroline that it wasn't something like a million Bulgarian lunges that was the add on😜😜 that oldie ab one is a burner on those abs. All set for the final week now. Sad it is coming to an end though🙄

The weather is lovely but the garden is dry and the farmers are already talking of a poor harvest as their fields are dry too! We actually need some rain! Matthew
@@matthewalmond8274 the rain is on its way here today so ye might get some over there too. Same with dryness here and farmers. I was actually watering my flowers the other day!!! Legs are tired so they know they had a good session this morning 😂

I absolutely love this series. At first i thought that only 30 min wouldn’t be too difficult but WOW, i loved every single one. I love that you incorporated step ups in leg day, they are so much fun.
But what i love the most, is how healthy your workouts are, you show ways to make us stronger and the workout titles aren’t: get a summer body, which i think is a bit toxic, because every body is a summer/bikini body.

Aw thank you Silvia!! Yes statements relating to workouts or even programs don’t work. Building muscle, increasing body fat or reducing body fat, becoming stronger… all depend on nutrition (protein intake, slight calorie deficit/surplus etc), weights you have access too, energy levels, sleep, experience in lifting (often great initial gains if new’ to weights, but also often mind muscle improved if experienced… though not always!), NEAT outside of exercise, and so on.
For example, someone training for a triathlon could build muscle and lose body fat… and someone else might lose some muscle, lose weight but increased body fat.
We just focus on training as best we can, always as safe as possible and celebrate our wins!!

Oh wow 🤩, what a great leg workout this is. I enjoyed every move in it, leg workout circuits, slow, deep with best range of movement. 3 circuits of lifting heavy. with a30kg kettlebell and 2x15kg dumbbells. Testing my limits, it’s you vs you.💪🏾💪🏾👌🏾
04/2023 IRON #3 DAY 26 DONE ! Thank you Caroline steps ups are more easy for me than the firt round ! I feel so good after this session and I feel stronger ! Happy day to you !

Hi Sally, lunge holds has got to be the most difficult. I can never hold for more than 20 seconds :( and have to lift up and then carry on but here we are practicing. Have a wonderful leg day!

Every time I do one if your workouts I'm pretty sure you're trying to kill me, but at least on my way to hell I shed 15 kg of fat and gained 7 of muscles. 🔥
Wow Awesome leg day, used 27.5 lbs each for lunges
50 lbs for sumo squats,felt the 🔥 🔥🔥🔥. Thoroughly enjoying the IRON session. Will definitely come back and redo it. Thank you sooo much Caroline. Highlight of my day is working out with you Caroline for little over 2 years.🥰🥰🥰
Couple of things. I found myself saying 'woman you are crazy!!' during this workout. Then at the end when she switched up the order I was saying 'bless you woman!'. Then for the iron finisher... when you see that smile... you know it's going to be killer!! Love your smile Caroline :) Absolutely amazing series!!! Thank you so much for making exercise so enjoyable!!!

Almost at the end of my second time around on Iron and lifting double what I did the first time. You know what, I am going straight back to day 1 again after I finish! Last year I did Iron them moved through fuel, heat, endgame and beastmode. Iron was by far my favourite and made me feel like Superwoman!! Now to source some even heavier weights....😅
Final week 😭 and whatba final leg session. What a difference it made when we switched to doing the step ups directly after the lunge hold 🔥 The working leg was shaking on the step ups 30 seconds in. Loved it. Paired with an advent body weight lower body. Solid sesh to kick start the week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I said the same, the switch from lunge hold to the steps ups burned 🔥 and the finisher was tough but sooooooo good 😆

sooooo i’ve reached so many goals since joining Caroline and everyone in the community for Epic Endgame to now Iron series! I maintained high protein diet extremely well for endgame & i’ve been doing OK for the last couple of weeks but definitely haven’t been eating as healthy or as much protein! I’m not afraid though bc doing this program has given me so much confidence in myself that i know i can get back on track!
Also it feels SO GOOD to know the difference in how i feel working out eating the right way and the wrong way. i’ve been struggling through these (i upped my weights as well so that’s half of it) but i just don’t feel as good…. definitely motivating me to eat better bc i can see the direct effects. also so proud that even when i don’t feel good in other areas i will still show up here and workout with you & im just loving how dedicated this channel motivates me to be. Thanks again Caroline🤍🤍

WOW!!! Best leg day of all times! Loved the cuircut, and loved the exercises...step ups and RDL's are my favorite..I finally was comfortable doing those sumo deadlift squats, now that I bought today a 20 kg dumbbell🎉, and I didn't have to do it with 2 light ones... and I felt so strong.. I hardly didn't rest as I always do, and had so much fun... this is a keeper, definitely one to repeat... thank you so much caroline... you are one of a kind! Love you🥰😍❤

This is a phenomenal lower body workout! It hit all muscles maximally and in only about 30 minutes. Sweat dripping. Muscles beat up fully.

Wow! Those lunge holds and steps ups burned so intensely! Loved the finisher. 30 minute workouts are my favorite it allows more time to stretch which is often neglected due to time constraints.I used 35 for sumo squats and 30lbs for all other exercises.

Excellent exercises for a circuit! Every single muscle is going to get involved!! And one of the hardest leg workout for sure!
