IRON Series 30 Min Full Body Circuits Workout - Dumbbells | 24

  • Circuits, sweat, serious intensity… let’s go!
    We simply have 5 supersets in the circuit and we simply perform this for 3 rounds!
    This might actually be the quickest in regards time passing! Within no time we reach the last round of circuit!
    The timer will be on for each superset for 90 seconds in total, with 60 seconds being the first exercise, followed straight away with 30 seconds of a ‘complimentary’ exercise!
    With this workout, you can absolutely use heavier dumbbells for the first exercise within the superset then drop weight for the 30 seconds exercise so for example squats you could pick a heavier weight, then drop weight for the squat to press!
    It’s completely up to you! I used the same dumbbells throughout and it was very demanding!
    All you will need for this workout is your mat and dumbbells! The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 2 x 10kg each!

I used 8 kg weights...meant I could keep up a good tempo and made the workout into a good cardio session too! As I say...you’ll love it!

    Holly molly, this is an indeed intense workout. I was sweating and my heart rate was up there. I used 2x 12.5kg for the High squats, RDL, Bent rows and Lunges and 2x10kg for the rest. Tough challenging yet fun. Feeling awesome. Happy weekend. 🙌💪

    I was sweating so much today. Thanks to this Iron series I have gone from 2 x 5kgs to 2 x 7kgs. Gonna rock out with these 7's for another couple of weeks and then incorporate some 10s. You are amazing and I feel so strong.

    Wow this was honestly probably the toughest iron work out so far I feel completely exhausted! What a fantastic well-rounded work out for the whole body… I used 2 twenty pound dumbbells the entire time and it was super tough!!! I was so happy to see Caroline was even struggling herself! WOW!

      Wow Kassie, such incredicle, wonderful stength! I am a man, I saw this video because my grandma does these lessons regularly! I tried this lesson with her but I could manage with only 1 lb dumbbells and stopped at the 14 minute mark when my arms just gave up😟 My grandma did the full lesson with 20 lb dumbbells. I feel very low and unconfident and don't know what to do 😔

    BRU-TAL! Hahaha! OMG!! Everytime I feel like I've made gains, Caroline spins out a workout like that. Truth is, a month ago, if I had to do that workout, I don't know how I'd have fared. It was a struggle, but I got through it. Thank you Caroline! Every workout you create is a gift and I appreciate them all!

    My legs are tired after walking 20 miles along the Ridgeway Trail yesterday...but I’m so excited to do this workout!       Hi, Matthew. I have seen the pictures from a walk this morning. Respect! I was quite happy this morning when I saw a format, that I took complete rest day yesterday. It was a hard one. Used 2*10 kg as Caroline and uff it was a sweaty workout with heart rate elevated pretty much through the whole thing. High squats and squats to press are not my favourite but sometimes you grow the most when you do things you don't enjoy or like that much!
      Loved the sweet abs at the end and an add-on was superb as well!

    Happy Friday All, After a true rest day yesterday where I did nothing, I thought I was ready for today. This one was deceiving. I started with 2x11kg for the first 2 rounds but had to drop to 15lbs for the last superset. OMG! the squats killed me😳. The abs finisher was a relief but plans to do the abs add-on were shelved.     Another "liked" workout I never commented on. Don'l exactly know why i love Caroline's circuits so much but I do. maybe it's the perfect balance of upper & lower body, maybe it's taking a break from staples, maybe it's the fact it works my memory too, but this one is awesome! 90 sec for each set is great, not to mention a 3-min ab finisher. sweat quotient is real, just as she says.     Smashed!! Feeling like a ROCKSTAR after this Tough Super Sweaty Fun Sesh! First superset could feel HR rising and catching my breath during rest. Brilliant combo and flow. Abs part was ouch..hugged the knees a few times. Finished soaked in sweat and Blushed Face 😁. Great workout!

    Caroline, I just wanted to let you know that I recently had to travel abroad to visit my mother who had suffered 2 strokes. I spent 5 hours a day at the hospital and the only emotional relief I felt, was when I forced myself to continue with your workouts. I had no equipment so I had to forgo your iron workouts and do your calisthenics workouts. Even though my mind was never wholly on the exercises, I so appreciated this little time out with you, so thank you so very much. Yes, your IRON series is great, I wish they were for the full hour though. Keep on doing what you are doing as you touch people in ways you probably don't even realize.

    This was a super solid session. I'm glad I had a lighter pair of dumbells handy because my 9kgs got quite heavy at times.
    I love the format of these workouts because its really is a challnge throughout to focus on form with the dumbell being lifted, but selecting one weight for a workout is alwasy quite hard.
    I felt like the 9kgs were too light, too heavy and just right at different times😅
    This one really kept me on my toes. Loved it!
    Also enjoyed and was quite challneged by the ab add on today.

    I was left breathless 🥵🥵 the time went super fast but most importantly I felt so strong!! I've had an accident at work and ended up with permanent nerve damage in my shoulder. Since then I've always struggled with shoulder press,even with lighter weights..today 10kg felt damn light 😨 I was still of course very careful and tried not to push too hard. Thank you Caroline for helping us to be better and stronger versions of ourselves through your amazing workouts!!! Lots of love ❤❤❤

    I love Caroline because she keeps it simple but still difficult! I don’t like overly complex moves, I wanna target specific areas of my body at a time with each move, I appreciate you not doing too much!

      Hi Luminita, such beautiful words and thank you for sharing your journey with us as we all love hearing how much positivity this community has brought to our lives. For me personally, Caroline has been my virtual trainer and taught me how to perform each and every exercise as she provides the most useful tips in her description and the workout. This is very important to me as I never had a trainer and never attended a gym. I have progressed massively and lifting heavier weights as I'm following Caroline's instructions and being consistent.     Just did this with my sister before our run, what a great workout! I’ve been loving this series as I just started this week and have really enjoyed the structure of the exercises and the ability to increase or reduce the weights depending on your level of fitness. So thankful for this series!

    That one full minute of weightlifting, followed by the 30 seconds was tougher than I expected. With the lighter weights you are definitely getting in more reps, which keeps that heart rate up. Glad its over 🎉 I think I need another rest day 😊

    I started the Iron program and as the workouts progressed I am seeing how much tougher it has become. I generally do not need to pause during workouts but today I needed to pause quite a lot in order to get through it. I have not done circuits before and it was tough NGL! Loved it though. Thanks for such an incredible workout, Caroline, I might need to lie down after this

    I'm literally glowing with these workouts in this iron series!
    On that glute day I was able to do hip thrusts with 29kg and 27 for those hamstring ones!! I could never imagine myself being that strong.. My exams are starting from next week and so is the last week of this program! I'm just hoping for another amazing program sooon as it will be difficult creating my own routine amidst this stressful month or two😌

    Was finale able to do this one! I don't think I have sweat this much in a while. Loved this one! thank you Caroline! Going to start this series again starting Monday. My husband just bought me a dress to wear at Katy Perry concert end of this month and just tried it on. Caroline's iron series has definitely made me stronger and made a difference then when I started when I first found her. Thank you again!!

Body feeling exhausted today as I have been under the weather with the last few days. Loved the combinations here today with the second superset to get the HR pumping. I was worried I’d be too tired to enjoy this after my walk yesterday...but actually it was fine and I enjoyed the workout! I kept the weights reasonably light...I used 8 kg and found that perfect for me! Have a great weekend...hope you are back to full form and fitness on Sunday! Take care of yourself! Matthew

    I love circuits, I must be the only one who doesn't like no-repeat workouts, with circuits I know exactly what comes next, where I am in the workout and I can easily add more rounds at the end if I'm up for it. This one is definitely saved in my favourites 😉 Thanks Caroline

      Wow Jennica! What weights did you use? I am a man, I saw this video because my grandma does these lessons regularly! I tried this lesson with her but I could manage with only 1 kg dumbbells and stopped at the 14 minute mark when my arms just gave up😟 My grandma did the full lesson with10 kg dumbbells. I feel very low and unconfident and don't know what to do 😔

    You do you, and I did. I challenge led myself the second time around and used 2x15kg dumbbells and 2x keg dumbbells for the 30s of the second exercise. Oh my gosh, it was challenging, my heart rate was high between 107-175 BPM. 2 days rest well deserved, I will hike and do yoga this weekend flout No dumbbells 😂. I am enjoying the journey so far. Feeling great and strong 💪🏾 ❤.

    Thank you Caroline! I am 64 and finally found a real hard workout. You are the best. I will say full body 30 minute workout kicked my butt. I was sweating after 5 minutes I am so happy 😀 thank you 🙏 again.

    OMG!! I did it after glutes day with 10 kg and my heart was on fire!! I have to convert the clean press into clean and push press 😅.... no doubt one of my favourite of Iron series!!!😁

    Wow. CG wasn’t lying when she said her one weight selection will be challenging enough!! I started with 25lbs and after first set I when to 20 lbs and used that the whole way. Very challenging and sweaty!! My glutes were still sore so I really felt those squats and lunges

      Hi Heidi...definitely a challenging one! I used 8 kg...about 17.5 lbs...and I found it tough! Your weights are super impressive!

    Wow wow wow wow …what an AMAZING session Caroline! My bpm spiked between 168 and 172 4 times during the workout! The time did fly by as you said. This is going straight to my repeat/favorite routine. Loved the song at the beginning of the workout - it really set the tone!!

    Wow! This was a sweaty one for sure. Loved the format with the Abs finisher. Bring on shoulders Sunday to close in on week 5 😱💪🏼
