30 Min MIGHTY Full Body Workout - Dumbbells | Caroline Girvan

- A full body workout hitting all of the major muscle groups in the upper body, and using static lunges as a staple to target the entire lower body with some RDLs for more hamstring specific! Finishing with an absolute abdominal burnout!
The timer will be on for 60 seconds per exercise with 20 seconds rest in between!
All you will need is a pair of dumbbells and your mat!
The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 17.5kg for most of the workout! I will reduce to 9kg each for shoulder press and holding during abs section!
These are straight forward compound movements with full range movement and standard tempo to allow you to perhaps lift that little bit heavier compared to if consisting of isometrics, tempo or partial reps!

The biceps are worked within the rows and triceps during chest press & shoulder press! There are no specific arms exercises due to this and compound movements such as chest press and rows recruit a lot more muscles over isolation so perfect for shorter workouts!
We finish with some ab specific exercises! Let’s focus on really holding that crunch during the leg lowers, pushing the lower back well into the mat and during toe reaches, how high can you crunch and reach whilst controlling the lowering back to mat? 😁

I really enjoy workouts that alternate between lower and upper body exercises like this one! The staple of lunges seemed a bit too repetitive, but overall, a really great workout and my heart rate was pumping fairly well. Thank you Caroline!

After a two weeks rest, with a strong willingness to have a workout I have accomplished this one. Wow, it was short but a tough one. I was tired with the staple in the middle of it so I didn't change the weight of the dumbells to heavier and even switched to bodyweight only repeats. One minute can last an eternity, certainly how it is felt today) thank you, Caroline ❤️

This is my third full body workout I’ve done with you I really appreciate the way you explain things and how you emphasize your form. I haven’t done weights for sometime due to health issues however now it’s time to get back on the bandwagon. I have a few restrictions but I’m working around them. As a senior lady I know the importance of weight baring . So that being said thank you so much and keep the great videos coming.

Nothing beats a surprise workout!😁 So excited to wake up to that notification. Loved the workout! I was surprised by the one minute sets, but the timing was perfect. Loved the staple, I always enjoy lunges. Lots of time during the workout to focus on form and to become fatigued😆. That ab section was quite the burner! 🔥🤩. Morning Sam...wasn’t this a brilliant surprise workout! As you say the 1 min sets made it hard...those staple lunges just got harder and harder...and I was only using 12.5 kg! I really enjoyed the cardio add on too...I always love Caroline’s cardio workouts! Hope you are having a great week! Catch up soon...maybe HIIT tomorrow! Matthew

I have followed all 30 minute workouts. HIIT sessions are my favorites! I have started in Covid time and I am so much more fit. I give groups sport lessions but since these 3 years with a lot more energy and strength. Still every week I follow one or two of your sessions, also outside. I love it!!!
Girl, I have to thank you. I’m a skier and mountain biker and I’ve been training using your workouts. I’ve had a torn ACL no surgery and a sprained MCL in past seasons. I can already feel the strength in my legs returning and I love how much stronger I feel tackling my climbs! Hard work + dedication = better performance!
