  • 3 best things to do on a Sunday in Rome. This itinerary takes you to Rome's largest flee market in Trastevere called the Porta Portese Market that is open every Sunday morning. We then head to the Jewish Ghetto where you can enjoy a great lunch. The Jewish Ghetto is best visited on Sundays as that is when it is at its best. Such a fun place to explore. From here we head to Circus Maximus where you will be getting e-bikes and heading to Via Appia Antica then to the Roman Aqueducts. Be ready to have one of the best days of your touring life for sure!

I'm taking my elderly parents to Rome next month so I am doing as much research as I can to avoid unwelcome surprises. Your channel has been one I've visited several times already - thanks for the info.

Greetings....We've been enjoying your videos. My wife and I are travelling to Italy for the whole month of June and will be in Rome for four days. We were gratified to see you confirm the wisdom of our decision to select a hotel at Largo Argentina for our stay in Rome. I appreciate your use of maps and Google Earth to get oriented to the places you are talking about in the videos. Keep up the good work.

Have a great time. If crowds are crazy and you need an escape, chack out the itinerary I did about day trip to Tivoli and then Roman Aqueducts. No crowds just a great time. Another great escape is Spoleto. Have a great time!

I think you will have a great time. Just remember to make sure your phone id charged to your GPS will work on the ride. Having a spare charger would be wise. Have fun!

You've covered numerous well-known and lesser-known places to stay and to visit in the Rome historic center, including the Piazza Trilussa, as one crosses over the Ponta Sisto bridge on the way into Trestavere, where there are often street musicians and other happenings. My wife and I would be interested in learning more about the walkways along the Tiber River in that area and in the vicinity of Tiber Island. From bits we've seen in other videos, it looks like those riverwalks light up with activity at night and might be interesting to visit.

The walkways along the Tiber River are my wife's favorite. She loves the peace and serenity along the Tiber. Tiber Island has a very interesting history. Thanks for watching.

I just wanted to say that Sunday morning in June is a bad time to try the bike ride. The Easy Bike owner was too busy outfitting bike tours to spend much time giving directions. I should have downloaded yours because the Komoot link he gave took us straight down Via di Porta San Sebastiano which definitely had cars by late morning. The San Callisto catacombs were a zoo; multiple bike tours were visiting at the same time. Anyway, maybe it's better in the afternoon, or in the spring. I turned back at the San Sebastiano catacombs.
