I have been watching football since 1981, and Morocco is one of the very few teams in those 40 years that has truly captured my heart as a football fan. Others were Ajax in 1994-1995, Real Madrid in 1999-2000 & 2021-2022.
Not surprisingly, these teams had a great surplus of technical qualities, a very clear structure, game plan and strategy and were managed by tactical very clever coaches. But most of all, they displayed such an enormous pleasure in their game style that it was totally infectious, a sheer joy to watch and an absolute inspiration.
For that, I thank you Morocco!
You have shown the world that not only an African team can advance deep into a World Cup, but you have also given hope to millions of people around the world, who got tired and bored of possessional football à la Spain, who were fed up with the endless passing back and forth; and who were longing to see a team bring the joy back into the game.

That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).

And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.

He was almost like a defensive midfielder
Griezmann has all the traits of Zidane. He too never held the ball for more than few seconds and studied the game immensely well on field. Which allowed him to pass the ball to the players efficiently. Griezmann does the same. He reads the game all too well as it progresses and handles it with his quick thinking.

A couple of things I observed:
1. France maintained that narrow shape in midfield but the quartet shifted depending on the direction of the ball.
2. France had a good plan to stop Morocco from exploiting the space left by Mbappe. Hakimi inverted for the first 15 mins and Fofana was tight marking him which means he got dragged out of position sometimes so Tchuoameni provided cover too to stop Morocco penetration.
3. Morocco was able to get runs into the half space with Hakimi and Ounahi while Ziyech hugged the touch line or sometimes inverted. Fofana also got dragged out of position because of Hakimi but this also helped in providing support to Hernandez
4. Very solid performance from Morocco and they showed that they’re not just a “park the bus” team. I’m very proud of the Atlas Lions 🇲🇦

Thank you! The referee weren't fair with Morocco at the semi-final vs France. We get robbed! 2 penalties for Morocco and the referee was like a blind man! Where is the VAR? Why they give easy penalties for teams like argentina? It's clear! Morocco surprised them with a stunning football style, they have beat Belgium, Spain, Portugal... and they made the fears hard for them. The injuries of Aguerd, Saiss, Mazraoui and many other players made the things difficult. Then the referee comes to drope our hopes, fifamafia is the right expression for what happened to us. I told everybody this, as a Congolese I was rooting for Morocco (Even though they knocked us out in Qualifiers, they represented for Africa very well). You should know we aren't getting anything our way, even if it's deserved, FIFA was against Africa (Morocco) because we knocked off 3 of their powerhouses in Belgium, Spain and Portugal. FIFA doesn't like it when their cash cows like Brazil or Portugal get knocked out.

One thing I noticed is that teams who are playing a strong defensive game(bus parking maybe) are still vulnerable... And the way around those teams is early goals and more importantly, playing the same style against them. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion.
