The Next Shibuya Incident in Shonen

- Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 wrapped up recently, having gone on what can only be described as a legendary run while adapting the Shibuya Incident. The Shibuya Incident itself was held in very high regard due to how well written and exciting it was even before it was animated and the anime adaptation cemented the Shibuya Incident as one of the all time greats. It would be a shame if we never got an arc of this level of quality in the upcoming future...thankfully Yuto Suzuki has our backs with the current arc going on in Sakamoto Days. Sakamoto Days had always been building up to a major event like the assassin exhibition arc and now that it's finally here, all of the major players of Sakamoto Days are entering the fray. It's the first time that the Order isn't overwhelmingly stronger than everyone else as a unit and each fight genuinely holds a lot of weight behind it. Every side has their reasons to participate in this event as well, which makes it all the more exciting. Kei Uzuki doesn't seem to be a mindless villain of the week kind of character and after the plot twist with Rion, I'm even more excited to see where his story goes. Get seated for some Sakamoto Days greatness.

Reading Sakamoto days from chap 1 and I'm telling you - the story is A tier, characters are A tier and fights are A+ tier. Even better than JJK and I'm updated with both mangas. Just go away and read Sakamoto Days.

Sakamoto days is GOATED and UNDERRATED af. Started reading a few weeks ago damn i love this manga. Artstyle reminds me of Togashi mixed with a bit of Murata from OPM 🔥

Gege Akutami once drew a special illustration on the outer obi of manga vol 9 of Sakamoto Days which featured Nagumo and Taro Sakamoto and there he also recommended the series and commented - "Reading Sakamoto Days really makes me hyperaware of how my fight scenes are lacking!! I like Kanaguri but my inner Ghost manners instructor whispered to me that it’d be a bad idea to draw on the obi a character that hasn’t appeared on the cover yet. Also sorry for making this (drawing) monotone!!"
So yeah, SakaDays fighting choreography goes hard AF.
