Russia is way ahead. With their partnerships and close relationships with China, Iran, North Korea, etc, this new group is untouchable. They have all the components to win wars and defend their countries against hostile enemies.
Who is attacking Russia? It’s more likely that after Ukraine falls, Russia will attack Baltic countries and Poland. Russia needs to win because if it fails and Ukraine succeeds and becomes as wealthy as Poland and other countries in Eastern Block then Russians will rebel. Russians have been suffering for last 30 years while Poland was increasing its GDP per person.

The difference between the military industry in Russia and Western countries is ONE THING. In Russia, they create military equipment for ONLY one purpose, so that this equipment is most effective on the battlefield. In the West, they create military equipment ONLY in order to make the most profit.......If it is possible to make a simple, cheap, effective thing in the USA, then they will NOT do it, simply because it is CHEAP.The West does not like simple, working, effective things....Well, just because these things don't make a profit....And this is the only reason why the West will ALWAYS lose to Russia.
There is another difference. The Russian gear is kind of shit. Their order book has been dropping like mad as people see how ineffective it is on the battlefield.

This is so typical of US military technology. Their weapons are highly advanced but impractical in real-world situations. The Abrams tank is one example. The F-35 is another. The F-22 is another. The Zumwalt destroyer is another. Even the EMALS on the USS Gerald R. Ford is highly problematic.

Yes, and US fighter jets are much worse. The F16 needs 9 hours of maintenance for 1 hours of flight, and the F35 needs 20 hours of maintenance for each hour of flight, plus only 29% of F35's manufactured are NOT hopelessly defective & useless. Per the House enquiry last week with Secretary Austin.

America has a reputation for manufacturing the best Cinderella war-engines, be it warplanes, helicopters, tanks, artillery, and what have you. They are not practical on the battlefield, as a Russian general observed. He was at an unkempt, dusty airfield from which Mig war planes were routinely taking off and landing and sucking up dust without much maintenance. That was in 1992 or about that time. He was accompanied by a Frontline reporter. I distinctly remember the general smirking and asking the Reporter, "Did you really believe you were going to fight us with your planes and win a battle against us?" Cinderella machines require a lot of tender love and care. Remember the fleet of Apache helicopters during the Iraq war?

Saw a vid yesterday on a tank (unsure of type) Russia had captured &they were puttin weight on the barrel2 break it. The jist wz that they'd found a new weakness in said tank.
I saw a similar video. If it’s the same, it was one of NATO’s tanks on display in Moscow and they were making it point down where it was supposed to be. The barrel/turret was pointing up before hand.
How could they commission such tank if the operational conditions required are known during the tests? It is so obvious that the people who approved the commission of such type of tank must be paid to ignore such weakness. Of course, all the US leaders from both sides must have known the facts. In a way, heaven has willed this so that a nation with such destructive mindset must end!
