      Your Chinese translation is wrong. 渠道 means channel as in water channel. The correct word for a television or CZcams channel is 频道.

    • @doggy5
      @doggy5 Před 24 dny

      渠道 is the wrong translation. It only refers to channel in the sense of an irrigation channel, or also in the figurative sense like a supply channel. If you want to refer to a television channel or a CZcams channel, 频道 is what you should use.

      @@geopoliticaltrends This is another anomaly I don't understand. India joins the QUAD with the US to "contain" China because it perceives China to be the "enemy" because of its border dispute. At the same time India does not want to play a secondary role to the US in the QUAD and the US won't have it any other way.
      My theory is that if India resolved its border disput with China (s British legacy) it would make it infinitely easier for India to manage its relations with the world. A small sacrifice to make for a bigger goal.

The US will only sell F35s to a very few country, GB Japan. The new B-class B21, stealth fighters are not for sale. Hence, many countries may source the new 5G fighter jets or 4.5G jets from the PLA. India's purchase of the Rafael fighter jet 4G may be a useful upgrade for the Indian military. We could look at China's move to assist Bangladesh, as a further surrounding of India to the North, West and East. Bangladesh also borders Myanmar which is supported by China. This has put pressure on India's foreign policy going forward.
    Myanmar’s Kyaukphyu was the focus of a US$10 billion deep-water port by Chinese entities with an accompanying "special economic zone". The Kyaukphyu Port offers China a land route for trade that avoids the Strait of Malacca and safeguards oil and gas pipelines running from Kyaukphyu to China's Yunnan.
    Bangladesh seaport, together with the Myanmar seaport, could counter-balance any notion India has in future of joining a US led fleet into the SCS for a naval engagement.

However, the government is corrupt and does little for the common man. The hundreds of years of colonialism has left it with many bad habits. As a result, the people feel they don't have much invested either and treat the country like a giant sewer.

Pretty sure very soon the west would be against freedom of navigation too with more Chinese ships.

    On your last question of Kolkata being Bangladesh, at time of partition the British censors found the city was 73% Hindu. Partition was based on religious lines. Consequently any suggestion that Kolkata is Bangladesh is wrong. Today the Hindu population ratio is far higher. It's also interesting that in spite of all the 1947 killings, most Muslims in Kolkata remained in the city and did not move to East Pakistan. This was a visionary move as later East Pakistan had to have a savage civil war to liberate itself from a West Pakistan. In that war, West Pakistan slaughtered and committed mass rape of the now Bangladesh people.
