Doctor, I grew up and did my education in France. Now a US citizens.
Back then I was very happy for Europe to come together as a block that would strengthen up its power in every aspect.
At the beginning, the Eu have attained its few objectives but as time goes by, I believe they forgot theirs goals of being Europ as a power block, instead they submit themselves into our US agenda thus the Eu just become another country and not a block.
With all the smart people in Europe and theirs technologies etc…the Eu can be a big power block behind the US, Russia, China and to a certain degree India.
All of this demise is NATO…the Eu and Europe needs to get out of this security defense mainly orchestrated by the US.
As wanted to be a part of the Eu, Serbia and any country that want to join needs to really see the benefit of it.
It’s true, in the past, joining the Eu has its PLUS but now, I believe it’s irrelevant especially the conflict in Ukraine open up people eyes that the EU got no roles in it but followed Orders.
I would bet all I have that if there is no Eu, besides Germany and the Uk, each European country would have acted differently towards Russia or towards this conflict.
If the economic situation in Serbia and Hungary improves from siding economically with China, more Eastern European countries will follow suit and then some of the west will gradually do.
As for Saudi, Saudi is playing a very dangerous game like India.

China builds it’s elctric car factory, BYD, in Hungary. This will be the 1st Chinese car factory in the EU.Therefore those cars will be EU made from that moment with free access to the EU market.
China also builds a fast train track between Belgrade and Budapest.

FYI, North Macedonia, next to Serbia, has just elected yesterday an anti-EU leader. One can vision the Budapest-Belgrade railway being extended to the Belt and Road port Piraeus in Greece.
I believe Europe should absolutely maintain her options rather than chose side between China and US to get the best leverage and balance. However, the situation is dire as top level politicians and military is so much influenced and controlled by the US, as the result, Europe is doped and needs someone who dare to un-leash them from the US influence. China and Serbia's relationship is a good example of how it pays to try and be on friendly terms with as many countries as possible, because you never know what the future will bring. I say this, because this is an old story that goes back many decades.
Yugoslavia, under Tito, of which Serbia was a part of, had an excellent relationship with China. Serbia continued the friendship after Yugoslavia's break up.
Although traditionally friends with Russia, Serbia's bid to join the EU was based purely on economic considerations. Since the EU kept pulling them by the nose and insisting on many conditions, some of which were not to Serbia's interest, Serbia decided to keep developing economic relations with China. It has turned its economy around in the past decade to have nicely improving GDP, mainly due to Chinese investment into industry and infra-structure. Both countries benefitted economically. Serbia had 5.4 million in export trade with China at the beginning of their co-operation, and after less than 8 years now has 6 billion! This will grow to 10 billion before long - as the Chinese market has opened up for Serbia by way of mutually beneficial trade agreements.
Serbia is and always will be a friend of Russia, while it has always maintained a good relationship with the west too. But in return for always being on the right side of history it has always faced pressure from the west to do things a certain way, or else! Russia and China do not come with any 'or else' baggage. Instead of just sitting and waiting for the EU to accept them, Serbia has continued to develop stronger ties with countries that do not 'or else' them. Hence, they have great relations with Hungary, have always been friends with Greece, and will continue to develop with China's help, so much so that they can potentially put themselves in a position where the EU won't matter at all. Vucic, whatever one may think of him, is a Serbia first kind of economic mind, and a good example of what leaders should be doing for their country, rather than push self-destructive ideologies and politics as the EU are doing. One thing for sure, Vucic knows what men and women are, and he and the Serbian people are not going to hand their children over to radical gender activists.

I wonder if Xi skipping the visit to the Chinese embassy is a sort of olive branch to the Collective West. He could be saying: our countries have had conflicts and disagreements over the decades, but China is willing to move on and work with you to improve our economies and cultural relations.

Actually , president Xi wrote an extensive article , published in local newspaper "Politika" (probably oldest one in Balkans) , in which he addressed that tragic event and mentioned Chinese jurnalists which died by name (all three of them). He , probably , didn't visit the site , because he landed very late in Belgrade , on the 25th anniverasary date of their death.
In the article , he clearly has put everyone involved in bombing of the Chinese ambassy , in their deserved place. The article is very detailed and tackles many subjects , regarding Serbia , China and international relations. I don't know if there is an English version of that article.

Let us remember, what we, Serbs, got from the West in last 40 years:
playing chess Washington, London, Berlin, Roma and Vienna have dismembered our Yugoslavia instigating ethnical conflicts and manipulating in a well known CIA manner! As a consequence of this we had a civil war in the 90-es and all of us ex-Yugoslavs (today insignificant Slovens, Croats, Bosnians, Serbs, Macedonians…) have suffered and lost a lot. However, the West continue calling us, Serbs, names as last communists and small Russians, spreading lies and propaganda, they went further with oppression, blackmail, threat, bulling, bombing and last but not least with robbing our, since more than 1000 years, holy land of Kosovo and Metohija, where we had thousands of ancient Christian Orthodox monasteries and churches, some of them from 12th and 13th and so on centuries and protected by UNESCO. Never the less moslem Albanians continue to destroy those sacred place…
The West doesn‘t care! It is even worse! Over 200 thousand Serbians were chased away from their historical land of Kosovo under the eyes of nato forces, known as „freedom forces“ there.
The final result was building one of the biggest US military bases in Europe, which the Serbian people never have agreed with!
So, is there any doubts left, why we deeply hate nato????!!!!!
We shall never forget and even less forgive, what the collective West has done to us!!!

Macron came with pustula von der leyen and she was seated in front of president Xi showing the weakeness of France. Nobody noticed abroad but French politicians called out Micron as Piotr Toltsoï calls him.
Great show Dr O. Ursula looked intense and agitated, Macron appears like a little boy, whilst Xi, appeared as if he was the only adult there and in total control. Xi couldn't even be bothered leaning forward and touching the table. Xi has his body towards Ursula which is unusual as it would disrespect Macron. But Xi sat at the furthest possible point on the round table. But in saying that, we cannot use western body language or language or thinking to draw conclusions on what Xi was thinking.
