- I love hauling our Lobster and Crab pots, it’s so exciting to see what we have caught and it often brings such delicious fresh shellfish for our family. Then James and I do some fishing for Bass for our tea.

Longtime fan, this is the most interesting and at the same time wholesome channel on youtube. I always love seeing the new videos. It makes a huge difference to me that he takes time to teach about the wildlife, not just show them off, he really respects and loves sealife! Always loved the night shore videos, id love to see one with both of the boys finding some cool UV creatures!

What a FUN and educational video for not just James but for a lot of us! I remember when James was so young when you started teaching him the ways of the ocean and now with the passing of time, I KNOW he knows more than I do and I'm sure more then a lot of us who watch your postings. What a WONDERFUL video John. When it comes to teaching, you rate a 5 out of 5! And your patience with James is amazing, a lot more patience than I have and I have decades on you. You have a lot more patience than half my teachers had. Oh, to have had teachers like you, I would have had better school years.

James has sure grown in the past few years. I started taking my son out fishing when was around 5 years old and now hes 20 years old. We still go out as much as we can and we sure do love looking for new spots. I love your content and find them very educational and entertaining, keep up the good work.

Inspired by this tonight. I’ve got two Poole Bay lobsters and a dressed crab being delivered by my fishmongers. They are a cooperative of boats who sell everything fresh from the boats. The guy who runs part of it lives nearby and passes my road going home. Last week I had mackerel. Gurnard. Monkfish tail and sashimi grade tuna. The best thing is they cook the crabs and lobsters fresh, then deliver. That means you can freeze the surplus.

I've now watched several fish-locker uploads over the last couple of years and I find them most enjoyable, especially watching young James so eager to learn constantly asking questions, showing a willingness to learn by standing ready with his tape measure... There is still one question I don't believe you've answered or explained yet and that is.... Is there a maximum fleet size for a non-commercial sea angler? All your fleets appear to be in threes, why not a five or a seven? I assume it's because they get snagged more frequently or you have limited room on your vessel? Great viewing & keep'em coming.. Thanks!!

Eeeeee...actualy, did not know that grouper lives there....mostly because of a sand bottom.
Here...on Adriatic see, they can be quite big....50 kg +..... but mostly 2-5 kg/ double in pounds....but mostly on rocky see bottom.
