You do realize that the only way to turn a bike at anything above a couple miles per hour is to counter steer, right? It's not this new invention or turning technique, it's just the physics of how a 2-wheeled vehicle turns. No one ever thinks about counter steering because you you do it naturally to turn. You learned it as a kid when you learned to ride a bicycle without training wheels.
I accidentally shifted from N to first without clutch; did I break anything... I'm a new rider and it happens sometimes when I'm not paying attention... Happened to me when I was getting my bike out of the parking...😐
@@abikeanditsboy3449 You do it naturally only when you start a turn. But you need to learn and use countersteering on purpose if you need to make a turn sharper.
@@abikeanditsboy3449 I Agree. Even beginners who doesn't know counter-steering, does not know that they're doing it once they're on a bike, because you do it naturally. But when you have the knowledge on how to perform it (push the left handle bar to go left, push the right handle bar to go right), riding will be very easy especially in turns.

Sir, I just got my first bike... I'm a newbie rider and sometimes when I'm not paying attention I shift my bike from neutral to first without clutch and it jerks and stalls... Have I damaged the gearbox or transmission?...
Ps- this mistake happens sometimes when I'm getting my bike out of the parking or my driveway; didnt happen during riding cuz I'm always attentive on the road...😐
@@rohanstormbanks7601 well if it still pulls and rides fine your transmission is probably fine. just makes clutch pads wear out fast if you don't use clutch. i guess you could chunk a gear in the transmission but not likely if its only from neutral to first.
