Oh man, that last clip broke my heart, hope someone helped out that little fella.
They normally die within 2 weeks because of distemper. That one for sure had distemper. I live in Toronto and often have them chilling on my patio during the fall months. There's also a distemper outbreak in Toronto. I guess it's nature's way of controlling their population.
I see all kinds of crazy sad animal instances. I live out in the country. I found a baby opossum; it's mother and siblings had all been ran over.

@@iz723 yes, it's a canine virus. Dogs can also get it, and it can spread from raccoons to dogs. In Canada most family dogs receive a distemper vaccine when puppies.
I know they meant good and had hearts of gold right there but they should have called to humane society on their area. They come pick them up and most likely help if they can or euthanize if too far gone.

why would they get angry, as long as they actually follow the rules of the road there's not much risk (generally), if they don't indicate then it's the biker who should get angry. Imo it's just people who are pissed off because there's someone around them that means they need to actually do what they're supposed to be doing anyway,
@@jtr549 do you not understand the concept of risk? Weaving in and out of traffic massively increases the risk of a crash especially when doing it at speed. All it takes is a little bit of tire slip and then you're responsible for the death of a parent and their children. If you mess up it's not just your own life in danger.
@@chrissmyth60 I ride everyday for over 3 years, my concept of risk is pretty good because I'm still here. it's like tetris, if there's space for a car to move into the other lane, probably don't weave, if cars are all side by side, or can't change lanes, it's pretty safe to weave.
@@jtr549 I have 4 years under my belt and will have to agree with Chris, it is very easy to fuck up and you now have a speeding missile sliding along the ground that can potentially hit pedestrians (unlikely to hurt anyone in a car, but will cause damage to others vehicles)

Happened to me. I think they have an initiative to crack down on illegal group riders that cause a lot of chaos in the streets. Plenty of them in NY. Got two tickets in my case. No inspection and license( I only had d permit).
It's seemed to me that they were looking for a specific person/rider by the way they looked at the license and walked away so quickly. A roberry could've just happened, or any number of crimes and the person could've been on a motorcycle... But did the one cop have a man bun???? I hope that's not what I saw.... Lol

As riders we know how important the bike is to the rider. Making sure the bike is off and okay for the time being will let the fallen rider focus on himself and his injuries.
@@gun123456zak Yup, I know my first thought would be "is my bike okay", knowing that someone shut it off and got it up would help a lot. Plus if you already got 3 people helping the biker, not much more a 4th or 5th person can really do that the others can't already
also, other people dont know how to react properly in a crisis situation. Theyll start freaking out or do something relatively benign like looking after the bike. If you're the type that is fine in those situations, you should start giving orders to people who are just there, not really doing anything. If you don't know their names, just address them by whatever article of clothing is obvious. "Hey, blue shirt guy. Pull out your phone and dial 911".

Just picked up my Z-400 from the dealership! Had about a hour and a half drive back home and after taking it around the parking lot and some side streets i realized i was no where ready for the highways and main streets just yet. I took the MSC and everything but its been a few months since i last rode. Sad to say i took the ride of shame to the uHaul and picked up a truck and drove it home. Bringing it back to where i live and riding it around i felt way for comfortable and less nervous!
No shame in it. You made an intelligent choice to drive it home in a vehicle you actually KNOW how to manage on the roads... Rather than let your ego talk you into attempting something you KNEW would be dicey at best, and potentially life-ending stupidity...
YOU did what so many try to impress upon the relatively inexperienced. "Ride YOUR OWN ride." That includes NOT riding when you don't like the odds... no matter why.

I just love it how some bikers ride without plates, license and/or proof of insurance and think it's ok. You don't have these things on your bike or person, you don't get to ride. Period. Most of them let it float for weeks or months too and have some lame excuse why they don't have it.
I rode when i was 18 to 21 and never has my license no one ever fucked with me plus i live in a very rual area so not alot of cops 👮♀️

Stinks about the racoon. What really needed to be done was call wild animal services. If it indeed did have distemper, they would of humanly euthanized it. But leaving it out there blind and unable to feed or fight off another attack, its just going to suffer.
Mother nature is cruel, it's fate will probably not end well, if animal control cant get to it right away the best thing to do is put it down, its not going to make it, seeing coon during the day time hours I always worry about rabies, especially when the animal seams disoriented, in this case the biker said it was blind but i'd still worry about rabies, getting shots for that is supposed to be very painful and there is only one case in our history of someone living without treatment.

By the time anybody fails utterly to give a sh*t, it's going to have wandered into trouble and maybe bitten some kid or a family dog in their yard.
Nothing unethical about shooting them PROVIDED you dispatch as quickly as possible. It can all be over in less than a second, and as little pain as possible.
DO NOT confuse "the mess" after with some repugnant ideals of how inhumane or barbaric death is. It's death, no more and no less. There's no "nice" way to go about it, but there's worse kinds of suffering in the world and trying too hard to be gentle is just as destructive as going out of your way to make sure someone/thing suffers.
There's a LOT to be said about the relative peace and tranquility of country life... At the same time, there are a few little aspects of it that kinda suck. Making these kinds of decisions can suck... sometimes A LOT. It's the price you pay if you want to live truly RURAL. ;o)

Man I think I would never be in an accident, I am so carefull and a defensive byker.
Yesterday I was out doing some money with deliverys, I decided to not staying home and while being in the main avenue someone cross site to site, I was in the third lane behind a big car and swap in to fourth lane to have visibility. After I swap the big car slow down and I see someone crossing,he was already in the third lane, running to four, I try to avoid and brake but he move into my bike 2 times with my movements so I crash In to him at 30km/h. I fly and fall on my arm, which is broken and hace no more DMG, my bike doesn't duffer too much.
Thing here is you are never safe some idiots can fuck you up in seconds.
