yep in 60's people couldnt imagine somth like this , and should love to be formed on simulator , military simulation is one of the best things humans creates , hopefully it could bring peace in the world because more and more people could be paractising mil sim instead of doing real war , so more and more realism again and again should be the key of the succes

I'm not trampling over nor giving suggestions, it's a matter of fact, harriers are movie-breakers :D
I've been told so many times to shut it down that it's a natural thing now!

Former Navy Aircraft maintainer here, the Air boss would have had a stroke 10 minutes into this video. But i must say I really enjoyed this. I am in the process of building a Rig now. Seems like what you need is for a few key people with specific jobs, and clear radio channels/chatter.
One to guide those in the air, one to guide those to the boat, and one to specifically guide those to parking spots to help pack them in without them crashing into each other.
Oh wait, that's called ATC, LSO, and Ground Crew.
But in general, seems like there isn't enough organization and too much side chatter. Lol
With the right people/instructions, I think y'all can get more on the boat.
yes... 60 planes landed and parked plus Tacview analysis by GS which would explain how notching would have helped to park another 3 Tomcats.

judging by the amount of space unused i think that 50 planes is definitely possible but this video was amazingly entertaining great job.
Honestly if they were on task, has mostly 18s (as 18s when folded up are quite small) you can easily do 40 or so without clogging the landing strip... and easily have another several harriers land vertically on the strip. Honestly 60-70 is probably doable.

The record that I was part of was 54. From an American Aircraft Carrier we flew 54 aircraft over 200 miles to on-top "with the appropriate maritime offsets" of a Soviet SAG.
I was surprised how close we got before we were lit up. I was monitoring ESM as all aircraft were EMCON-A as we came over the horizon. We were within 5 miles when they started to wake up.
After that even 54 aircraft had to come back and land.
Next up: how many Yak-52s and Mi-8s can you fit in a carrier?

It would help if DCS could create a carrier that had working elevators and a hangar... some aircraft could try and make it down as others are landing (still dangerous) and make room!

The bickering sounds like a child not getting their way. So many of those planes you freaked out about were still on the cable, and you are yapping at them to get out of the way before they've even had a chance.
The Hornet looks really small next to a Tomcat or a Flanker.

5/ and happy end with 1 minute to blow things up like a "banane flambée" dessert !
