In this video we are showing you how to remove or replace the side view mirror on a Ford Fusion Second Generation which should cover years 2009 2010 2011 2012.
It will be the same procedure for the left and the right side view mirror. We demonstrated on a 2012 Ford Fusion Left side view mirror.
It is possible not to remove the door panel but one of the nuts will be hard to get and you might damage the mirror trim on the inside. So the proper way will be to remove the door panel.

Great video. it really gave me an idea on what to expect. I found it was really easy to do this without removing the whole door panel. I removed the door handle trim and popped out 2 or 3 of the snaps right under the speaker panel. that gave me enough room to reach in and pull out the tweeter panel and get at the screws for the mirror. Great job on the video... just get something to help with the wind noise.

Did you find that the passenger's side was practically identical with no extra steps? Also, where did you get your replacement?
It was really simple took about 15 mins. I believe I got it from Amazon. But make sure to add if has a fog light or not.

Anyone know if these will fit a 2009 ford focus se? I need side mirrors that can fold in and they don't seem to make any for the American spec focus from 2008-2011.
I attempted to install a new mirror but I can't get the top bolt come Thursday enough to get the nut on. Any ideas?
My original is heated- I found a color match heated but it has a puddle light. Will it still connect?

Dude seriously I live in Dallas and I also park on the side of the street and my mirror was also knocked off the same way. I know a blue car did it because I got blue paint scratches on my car.

How do you remove just the cover. I bought the whole assembly but it did not come with the cover, so I need take the cover off my old assembly
Do you know if you can take the body cap off of the mirror and replace it with another body cap? I got a replacement part but in the wrong colour.
