In this video we are showing you how to remove and replace the front door speaker / speakers on Ford Fusion Second Generation. It will be the same procedure for the front left door speaker and the front right door speaker. We demonstrated on a 2012 Ford Fusion Front Left Door Speaker.
Unfortunately, you will need to remove the front door panel in order to access the Speaker. We have the whole procedure in this video.
The factory Speakers are not very good quality.

Amigo. I don't know what year Fusion you have, but my 2011 is also a 6 speaker and its one hell of a Bass in the front door with original 55 watt speakers. The factory in old Mexico must off run out of them and installed the same ones as the back that are sure 25 watt.

Thanks man, looks like a simple job with the right tools, some patience, and delicate handling. My speaker on the passenger door is making a terrible sound with audio on, had to put the balance of the audio all the way to the left to drown it out. Will be replacing my speakers probably today
How did it go? I'm having the same issue with my driverside speaker, makes a horrendous buzzing. Had to adjust fade aswell

The premium 6-speaker system in a Fusion (not the Sony level) sounds better than the high-end Sony system, with just some minor EQ tweaks in the head unit. If you want subwoofer bass, they will not quite do that (or they do, but only at low volumes) but the parts are pretty nice. The curved paper cone with foam surround is a good design that provides a lot of performance with affordable materials. Many don't know this, but paper has the highest stiffness to weight ratio of any speaker cone material; woven composites like carbon fiber are more rigid, but they are also heavier, so the ratio of stiffness to weight is not even as good as paper, and the internal structure of paper provides both rigidity and self-damping. The curved profile also helps with midrange clarity, which is not bad from these speakers. If you are wondering about the tiny magnet, that is neodymium, and is 10 times stronger by weight as a magnetic material than ordinary ferrite ceramic magnets (the black donut style), so they can be encased totally within the forged steel U-yoke.
rorybz disagreeing with you on this the Sony system is better period.
@@agustin713 The one I heard in the 2017 Fusion Sport was muddy and boomy - not at all the right way to tune a system. The 6-speaker system in my 2010 with Sync sounds better with actual music. It didn't take much tweaking of the EQ to make it sound quite nice. Yes, it doesn't have subwoofers to shake things, or the little center speaker, but the rest of the frequency range is much more clear and natural than the Sony system, which is too unrealistically bright, muddy in the lower mids, and boomy in the bass. Maybe some people like that, so they are knowing their audience. But it's not a performance worthy of a respected brand like Alpine, Harman Kardon, or B&O - or even Bose.

@@TranceForLyfe As I recall, there were three options: Base audio, premium audio with Sync, then Sony-branded premium audio. If you don't have Sony badges on any of your speakers then you have base or premium audio, but not Sony. Then I think if you have A-pillar tweeters (in your front doors near the front corner of the windows), you probably have the Premium Sound package.
