What is the white plastic bit called? It must have fallen off on impact and I can't seem to find one for sale, just the mirror glass and backing.

I figured it out! For anyone in the future facing the same problem:
Heat the back of the mirror and the pins with a hairdryer until they’re warm. Then the pins pop in!
