I went to Myrtle Beach for a week and rented a suite (with kitchen) went to their local grocery and asked for a pound of Isley’s chipped ham. The deli workers & customers were looking at me like I was crazy!!! Finally a gentleman from Beaver Co who retired down there, ran over and said “you’ve got to be from Pgh”. I’ll be making this recipe for work this weekend! Thanks for posting!! #YinzerStories
Ha The same thing happened to us when we were on vacation except someone asking if we were from Pittsburgh. We had to explain to them how to "chip" it! Wasn't quite right but still good! Thanks for watching and subscribing.

They look good but i hate when they include the northern panhandle of WV into YINS....most of us true WV people use Y'all it's weird if Y'all don't....and i figure that ain't your map anyway lol....i rarely eat PISSburgh food but these aint bad at all in my OPINION nice video 👍

Listen, pal. ..you are only making shaved ham. A proper western PA chipped chopped ham sandwich is literally shaved ham that is then chopped by a butcher knife to CHOP it.
