Good review. I've been looking for a quality backpack that would do tech well. This might be it. If people scoff at the price, it's because it's QUALITY and DESIGN. People discount zippers way to fast... No. If anything is going to go first, it's the zippers. And they interlock... The ventilated back and chest strap (another discounted feature) is a huge plus. Then, all the passthroughs... Again, a really great feature. But all of this requires QUALITY and DESIGN. And that cost money. And $199 is worthwhile.
The Apple Find My is a great 'Nice to Have'. I mean, you can simply drop an Apple AirTag in your backpack... But the audible alarm makes it even more special.

There is virtually no discernible disparity between this bag and a conventional bag equipped with an AirTag or a similar tracking device. The notion of an alarm, as previously indicated, is nonexistent. The emitted sound of 90 decibels only occurs when manually activated through the Find My app, requiring one to be within the confines of Bluetooth range for activation. Moreover, it is worth noting that the emitted sound of 90 decibels, which you regarded as a potential deterrent, is not particularly alarming, especially considering that many Bluetooth trackers on the market possess higher sound levels. In essence, the battery and device are conveniently detachable, akin to other tracking devices, rendering it devoid of any distinctive features. Unscrupulous individuals have the ability to effortlessly remove the battery or discard the entire tracking apparatus while retaining the bag itself. Consequently, it is more cost-effective to acquire a bag of your preference and augment it with your personally selected tracker of choice.
Some of your points are valid, but this bag has several features that set it apart.
1. The tracker in this bag is much harder to remove than a conventional AirTag is. You’re never going to stop a thief that really wants to steal something, but you can make it more difficult to do so.
2. As a person that has purchased several tech bags in my time, from several different reputable brands, this bag is very well made. The quality is top notch.
3. The pass thru options for device charging are very well thought out & engineered. It’s very specifically made for tech. Better than any other tech bag I’ve tried.
I never said this is the only bag in existence, I only stated that the bag is well made & the features are great. If it’s not for you, it’s not for you.
Buy whatever bag you want. Start your own CZcams Channel & tell us why it’s so much better than this one. I’ll be the first to critique.
