I believe the wait list for E-Ray is about 1 year, the Z06 is 18 to 24 months AND the Z51 is 8 to 10 months. I know the "finders fee" or dealers bonus or whatever pretty name they put on it is $50,000 over list price. WHICH puts your insurance right up there. I don't know if you can finance that added $50G's.. I have a 2020 Z51 I bought new and wanted to upgrade to a 2023 but I couldn't swallow the $50g. I only paid $1000 over because they didn't know what they had at the time!

Stingrays are now MSRP or less. That market has crashed. The Z06 is down to about 20-30k from what I have seen. The E-Ray is a mystery cause it hasn't hit the market but I imagine it will be less then 30k within a few months cause anything more and its in Z06 price range which is the better car.

Wait times vary by dealer but around here Stingray is around 3-5 months and Z06 is in the years and eray is a mystery as some dealers including large ones aren't doing hectic wait lists and waiting to feel out the market.

@@JumpSquadAuto Still have that $50g fee. They called it supply and demand. I so wanted a convertible, last I had was a 71 Stingray with 2 tops I purchased used in 73. My 1st Vette!

@@JumpSquadAuto Also when I purchased the 2020, I was 3rd at that dealer. 1st dealer I went to wouldn't sell it until they got one on the floor so that we could "kick the tires?". I called them idiots.
I also ordered and immediately came the strike and Covid. It was a wait.

@@JumpSquadAutoI disagree, the e ray has more to offer than the z06. There will be much more e ray buyers than z06 buyers. The reality is the e ray makes the most sense. Especially as a daily driver plus having the extra confidence to destroy the z06 likes it no ones business. I have a c8 z06 and a e ray on order. But I have a feeling I’ll enjoy the e ray much more. I’m a die hard z06 fan I’ve owned multiple z06’s in the past. The only special thing about the z06 is the high reving engine that is it! Nothing else. E ray makes the most sense. And it would whoop the living shit out of average z06 drivers. Z06 has enough power that you have to setup and plan for perfect conditions to grip. E ray will just grip and be gone regardless of the weather temperatures. If you’re only chasing sound and higher rpm, then the z06 is your car. If you want an EVERYDAY race car to beat the shit out of the e ray is the car. Also I don’t trust the z06 motor, too many common problems so far. E ray engine is very reliable and has a lot of modification potential. The z06 is questionable.

I'd love to hear your comment!

Whatever happens, this car is up for North American car of the year awards. That is far more than most people understand with such a wide variety of cars coming to market. This will not be a flipper car regardless of what people say, because production was off the charts at the exact same time loan defaults increased to record levels. Financing restrictions have just started to appear in the market place after multiple bank failures. Bottom line is Corvettes are finding there way into owners hands that can actually afford them for long term. I cannot wait for lightning lap this year.

Surprised the E Ray comes with a battery? It’s joke
