I'm holding this blade in my hand right now. The video doesn't show just how awesome it really is. It looks amazing in the video, but IRL, it is easily 5 to 10 times more beautiful. I got this for my wife for our 17th anniversary. If you are married and didn't know that the 17th anniversary is the Damascus Steel anniversary then you are a bad husband. 1st is paper, 17th is Damascus Steel, 60th is Diamond, and the rest don't matter. Or, maybe I just made that up whole 17th thing up so I could give my wife a cool dagger. ;) If your personal finances ever work out such that you have extra money lying around and Mr. Tyrell has something for sale, BUY IT. You won't regret it. I have 0% buyer's remorse. I'd buy another one of these in a heartbeat. Also, blood wipes right off this thing. Don't play with sharp things when you aren't paying 100% attention to the sharp thing. You'll cut yourself, and it's embarrassing. This thing is STUPID sharp!
Ha, I’ll have to tell my wife about that 17th wedding anniversary! PS - next time I’ll include band-aids. 😉
While I've always enjoyed Damascus pattern blades, I've always thought they where just random patterns that didn't have any thought to them. This is absolutely incredible. I have never been more happy to be proven wrong before
Thanks for checking it out!
Remarkable quillon Dagger !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for checking king it out, Jerry!
Damn, you'd make a better teacher than 99% of all the teachers I ever had. I never forged anything, but all you say makes sense, even if my practical abilities are probably not up for the task, I still get the concept of everything. Amazing job, amazing result!!!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you taking a look.
I can't believe you guys are Journeymen! The beautiful and functional pieces of art you create are masterpieces! Can't wait to see them and you at Blade Show Atlanta.
I'll be at table 23-O and Rick will be helping Travis Wuertz out at his booth, come by and say hi! Thanks for watching!
Exactly,wot,i,was,goimg.to.write,.....✨✨✨⭐⭐
Thanks for checking out this build! Let me know what you think of it!
Un magnifique travail pour un résultat qui l est tout autant ! Félicitations 😉👍
@@laurentcavaille2191 Merci d'avoir regardé, Laurent !
Holy crap that's the utmost beautiful piece I've ever seen. It nearly brings tears to the eyes
@@stephenhurd1489 Thanks so much, Stephen! I appreciate you taking a look.
for the millionth time. PERFECTION
A stunning visual masterpiece. Nice work.
Thanks for taking a look!
I like how you put just as much detail into the handles as you do the blades 👍
The handles on these are my favorite part! Thanks for watching, Philip!
Credit were credits due the only issue i have is how I get somthing like that to me in the UK
@@philipbower8718 With your crazy knife laws, I would be nervous trying to send anything like this over there.
I hear you on that one that's a shame because I'd be honoured to own a piece of your work and have it on display
Il stil be watching all the videos liking an subscribing to your channel
That big reveal was gorgeous
Thanks for watching!
WTAF??!!? I think someone may have said this already, but how are you still a journeyman? That is easily as skillfully done as anything I've seen Kyle Royer do. Ok, now that I've finished the video; that is THE CRAZIEST forge welding i have seen up to this point in the time I've spent watching forge videos. Seriously, hands down the best work I've seen.
Thanks so much! It is definitely the most complicated forge weld I’ve done yet. I appreciate you taking a look. ❤️
This has got to be one of your best executed pieces! Really enjoyed it!
Thanks for checking it out, Chris!
Another coffee table piece. Well done sir.
Thanks for checking it out!
WOW! That looks like it should be found in a Viking King's tomb!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching
The wire wrapped handle looks amazing, always been meaning to try something like that!
Next week's Triple-T will be a deep dive on twisted wire inlay... check it out! 👍🏻. Thanks for watching.
WOW Denis, that is absolutely next level! You never cease to amaze me!
Thanks for checking it out, Mark!
The pommel and guard fit so well with the rest of the piece.
Thanks for taking a look!
Wow! That turned out amazing. Y'all both did a terrific job on this knife. My jaw dropped when i saw the final result. Keep up the good work, man, and best of luck to ya.
Thanks so much, Evan! I appreciate you taking a look
Flat out gorgeous! Best one yet!
This is my favorite build for sure. Thanks for watching, Dave.
I'm running out of adjectives for your work, lol. I'm going to have to start making up my own words. Phenomenal work as always.
Haha, thanks, I appreciate you watching!
Yes that's really beautiful 👏👏🙌🙌🙌
Thanks for checking it out!
Being a fan of daggers. Id be more than proud to own that one even it i used it just as a wall hanger. What a gorgeous piece of art that is
This one is still available. Check my website: www.tyrellknifeworks.com. Thanks for watching.
watching your work is a pleasure. 👍👍👍
Thanks for checking it out!
Hey 👋 man how are you my friend a beautiful piece of art 🎨 sir impeccable work like Kyle Royers knifes 🔪 blessings 🙌 🙏
Thanks for watching, Guillermo!
This is an AMAZING KNIFE!!
Thanks for checking it out, Bobby! This is probably my favorite so far.
That is gorgeous. You know, with that yellow handle and blacked/blued guard and pommel, it would look amazing with a little gold wire inlay in the guard and pommel.
I didn’t want too much to draw away from the Damascus on this one so I opted away from any inlay on the fittings. Thanks for watching, Sam
@@TyrellKnifeworks That is a good point. The Damascus idea was pretty awesome.
I'm an IT guy but the things you make totally inspire me. Keep up the great work
Thanks for watching!
Awsome! It's amazing to watch your progress! Chapeau.Daggers like this devide the wannabees from the craftman!
Thanks for checking it out!
Awesome build Denis! Also nice to see there are still people out there that drink good beer 🍺 and not that microbrewed crap 😂
Haha, it's what Rick had... But I like it! I can't do heavy beers. Thanks for watching!
I hope to be able to forge something as beautiful someday! I really like the way the dagger looks, good job!
Thanks for checking out this build, Riley! ❤️
Work of ART!
Thanks for checking it out!
It was fun making the steel with you Dennis you did a marvelous job on the build and I saw your slacker comment. Don’t make me come over there.
Haha, well get busy! Thanks for fun time making this steel.
Huge amount of effort, but a truly amazing blade
Thanks for watching, Matt!
The amount of machinery you use is astonishing
Thanks for watching
@@TyrellKnifeworks np that Damascus looks insane, still don’t know how you pulled it off
dont know of anyone has ever mentioned it .. but i enjoy the little graphic showing the layers and how they will be formed ... makes it easier to visualize the outcome
I’m glad the graphics are helpful. Thanks for watching, Cory!
BEAUTIFUL as always!
Thanks for following along, Armen!
That turned out great man!
Thanks for checking it out, Tony!
A true work of art
Thanks for watching, Lorne!
That is so dang cool!! I seriously love the way that demascus turned out. You should do some tests with making the demascus water part look more wibbly wobbly like the suns rise's reflection in water.
Maybe if I try this one again. It’s a time consuming pattern though. Thanks for watching.
amazing piece of art you made, love from Iran
Thanks for watching, Ali!
Beautiful, Great craftsmanship. Have a great weekend!!!
Thanks for taking a look, Daniel!
Amazing final result!!
Thanks for taking a look!
It’s very beautiful! Unreal knife! Fantastic! I’m impressed…
Thanks for taking a look!
That's absolutely beautiful
Thanks for taking a look!
Once again just killer it a real piece of art for sure
Thanks for checking it out, Tony!
I've never seen such a cool transition between patterns. That's a TON of work and attention to detail, in order to keep everything concentric and symmetrical over such a long billet. And to add to the complexity, it's a collaboration between to smiths. Beautiful piece, guys!
Thanks so much, Jamie! I hope the judges at Blade show agree. 😉. Thanks for watching
Breathtaking. Such amazing talent.
Thanks for taking a look!
This is one of my favorite knives that you've made. it is amazing great job.
Thank you very much! One of my favorites too!
Amazing! I bet you would love a wood lathe. So much fun to had work on the wood lathe.
I just don’t have the room for two lathes unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for watching, Gino!

Thanks, Matt!
pretty cool knife build. more collabs please!
Thanks for checking it out!
Stunning
Thanks for checking it out!
Very nice, very creative and impressive with the 3d printing
Thanks for taking a look, Chris!
absolutely brilliant. Seeing as we are creative. I would have drilled and milled the sun/circle so it was perfectly round. Oh how perfect is the life of an internet comment when you did nothing? - I love watching the channel
Sure, milling the hole would make it perfect, but anyone can drill a hole. Doing the sun in damascus is way more difficult. Plus I like a little bit of distortion in it. Thanks for watching, Allan
Denis, this is one of the best pieces I have seen you make yet. Beautiful!
Thanks for watching, Bjorn!
I'm always in awe of you craftsmanship. Another spectacular project!
Thanks for following along!
Nicely done really enjoyed the process
Thanks for taking a look!
Just wow. This was super impressive. 2 different patterns in one billet. Amazing. Thank you.

That is a beautiful blade great work
Thanks for checking out this build, Chris!
Amazing work!
Thanks for checking it out!
I have no idea how that handle would feel in the hand, I actually kind of think it looks unpleasant, but oh MAN is it gorgeous as a piece of art!
It’s very comfortable. This is a very traditional design for quillon daggers. Thanks for watching
wow.. nice.. would like to see more projects like this.. beautiful..
This is a long one to make so they can’t all be this complex. Stay tuned though, some cool projects coming up!
Beautiful
Thanks for taking a look, Erik!

Thanks for watching!
16:03 Super rare shot without the baseball cap!
Haha, that’s right! Thanks for watching, Sven.
Damn! What a stunning piece! Excellent work Denis. I’ve decided this winter to only focus on upgrading my skill set and making technical builds. Focusing on integral guards and guarded blades.
That's a great idea, push yourself and your limits. Thanks for watching, Spencer!
Amazing! A true master of your craft sir!
Thanks for checking it out!
gorgeous
Thanks for watching!

Another amazing knife. In amazing video form. Great work you guys!
Thanks for checking out this build, Michael!
Excellent build as always. I can't wait to see what you bring to Atlanta.
I'm just bringing a dozen blades or so, mostly simple hunting knives. This one is the nicest by far. See you in a couple weeks!
That’s a beautiful piece Dennis, the pattern looks amazing on the blade!
Thanks for watching, James!
Gorgeous! The handle sets off the blade pattern very well.
I've had that handle piece for over a year and it just spoke to me on this one. 😉. Thanks for watching.
I am constantly awed by the things you make. Just keep the good stuff coming. Love your work. Sorry I can only like once.
Thanks for following along! ❤️
