What do you think of Loki's dagger? Did I do it justice?
Veddy nice
Awesome
Loki for the win! Haha 😄 so now we know what you really do with that photobooth. The Dagger turned out amazing 🤘🤘
That movie was funny and bad that low-key strangers cry and laugh trying to change but I don’t know when so I like it and dagger 🗡 is just like the movie I thought he was dead but now he’s back, great work man.
Oh YA! You definitely did it justice! I love the way it came out, Very clean and sleek. Great job on it brother! 👍🏻
Awesome dagger, the handle material is
*Chef's kiss*
Incredible
I watched all of Loki, and I was not overly impressed. The show worked only as far as Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson carried it, they should get their backs checked out
I think you had to be die hard marvel fans to appreciate it. Thanks for checking out the dagger build, Ramon!
that 2nd bevel or edge or whatever is really what made this knife special for me. looks great.
Thanks for checking it out!
Best scene is definetly comic Lokis "rampage". Superb looking dagger sir!!!
Thanks for checking out the build!
Epic Loki's Dagger !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching, Jerry!
Love is like a dagger it truly is.
Great build and a great story for Loki as he does find love with Sylvie looking forward to season 2
Thanks for checking out the build! I am also looking forward to next season!!
Another beautiful build, so thanks for sharing your processes, and AMEN on the all-thread!
All thread for the win! 😜
That's a beautiful blade, great symmetry. Great work over all Dennis.
Thanks Darrell! This was a tough knife to grind for sure!
That dagger is a thing of beauty
Thanks for taking a look. This was a fun build.
That's the smoothest manual bevel on a lathe I've seen in a while
Thanks for checking it out!
Marvel should've used this dagger instead of the prop, cause this is exquisite!
Thanks for checking it out, Aiden!
Oh man…that is gorgeous!
Thanks for checking out this build!
That dagger came out brilliantly! Very nicely done and the hilting material looks incredible.
Thanks! It was a fun build and the video had some fun parts to make!
That came out great! What did you call the handle material? I haven't seen anything quite like that before.
It's a Raffir product. I bought it at Blade show in June and I thought this would be the perfect project! Thanks for watching, Nathan!
Thank you Tyrell, it is a beautiful blade and and sheath we enjoyed meeting you and your lovely wife at the blade show this weekend. Tom and Timothy.
Thanks for stopping by and for your purchase! It was great talking to you both!
That handle material is sick!
Thanks Bill! I forgot to show the glow in the dark aspect of it in the video. I'll have to do a short video of it soon! 👍🏻
I watch a lot of different blade smith’s and the work you put out is absolutely incredible!
Thanks so much, Michael!
WOW ! That looks amazing.
Thanks so much! This was a pretty fun build.
Oh man I want this. This is a beautiful dagger
Thanks for checking it out, James! Sorry, this one sold last year.
Another awesome job on the dagger
Thanks for watching, Tim! This was a really hard dagger to grind with the bevels sooo narrow. It was a fun one though.
Great looking dagger. You made it look easy, and I know it was a challenging build.
Thanks, Ed! Yeah it was a challenging build but a fun one to do! 👍
Beautifully done
Thanks for watching, Raymond!
Awesome looking dagger
Thanks so much, Tim! I appreciate you watching.
Unbelievable piece....
Thanks for checking it out, Jason!

This turned out really nice. Well done as always.
Thanks for watching, Heiko!
Came out great
Thanks for checking it out!
that is a really nice blade - thank you for sharing the process !!
Thanks for watching!
I would be interested in seeing a sword inspired by Arya's sword from the Eragon movie. Or the Dark One's dagger from Once Upon a Time.
I'd have to look those up, I'm not familiar with either. Maybe in the future. Thanks for watching, Jack!
Fantastic work
Thanks, Sasha! Be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications to see other cool builds coming up!
Beautiful dagger!

This would make a Niðavellir Dwarf proud!

The Dwarves of Nidavellir making loki's daggers after he asked for some:
Awesome work!
Thanks for checking it out! This was a fun video to produce.
This is awesome, I think the dagger turned out amazing and this was a pretty fun video. Great job!
Thanks Erick! I had fun doing this build and this video. 😜
Love is a dagger
It sure is! This one will be showcased at Blade West in Oct on my table. 👍
Beautiful dagger!! Also animation effects! 👍👍
Thanks! I had fun doing this video.
I really liked the layer graphic I haven't really come across that before.
Which layer graphic are you referring to? I don’t remember putting one in this video.
Классная работа, лайк за труды!
Огромное спасибо!
You Sir, are very bold! 5160 is a great spring steel for sure (shades of 9260) but taking it down so thin can make things a little hairy..... But you pulled through with flying colors. VERY well done, and Loki definitely for the win!!
Thanks for checking it out! It was a fun build and it sure had its challenges! Loki was there to see me through it all though. 😜
Great job. Good stuff.
Thanks for checking it out!👍
Awesome skill. The grind on the blade could have gone wrong in so many ways, but you knocked in out of the park.
Thanks for checking it out!
You sir are a master
Thanks for watching!
I have also made Loki' dagger earlier than you posted a video .. but your is much better :)))
I just checked yours out, very cool! Thanks for watching!
@@TyrellKnifeworks
Ohh thanks 😱😍 hope one i will also make such good knives as yours 😉
I think your imagination wanted to make a different "Variant" of Loki's dagger. 😁
Haha, yeah but I tried to keep it really close. No alligator dagger in this one. 🤣
Loki's Short Sword, also cool
I also tried a kind of dagger once and decided in the end to work with files on its bevels instead of using the beltsander, I was too afraid that I would mess up the bevels - it was a lot of work with the files, but the result was great. By the way You did an amacing job . I like it a lot!
Thanks for checking it out, Andreas. I have some videos that might help you gain confidence on the grinder. 👍
@@TyrellKnifeworks I`ll watch them thx mate and much success ;)
Wow amazing
Thanks for checking it out!
Dagger look killer.love the clean and crisp bevels.👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Gurvinder! This was a tough but fun build! 👍
@@TyrellKnifeworks Thor Hammer is next????oh!!!! I love his hammer⚒⚒⚒⚒
@@gurvinderkau1e5w18 Hmmm I'm not sure about that one... that's too much steel! 😜 I don't think it would be a functional hammer for any mortal.
Very nice Dagger
Thanks so much, Darcy!
Love the handle material, dagger indeed looks Very Stabby
I’ll be doing the sheath for this one in an upcoming build video. 👍 Thanks for watching, Brad!
That's beautiful craftsmanship 👍 Damn good work Sir 👏
Thanks Eric!
aaaaa it's so beautiful
Thanks for taking a look!
Love the dagger! Just fantastic. I've wanted to make this since episode 1 of Loki, after watching this though I think it's a little out of my league for now. Maybe in a year or 2 I will be able to tackle this.
Thanks for checking it out, Stephen! I was looking for something TV-based I could do and when I was watching this it seemed like a great one! It is a challenging dagger though. Very tough grind. You should try it though. Nothing like challenging yourself to force you to get better! 👍🏻
@@TyrellKnifeworks Thanks for the reply. It is certainly on my to-do list, just need some more practice with grinding daggers I think. Your video will really help me though, so thanks again!
Good looking dagger, really like the lines. One suggestion, if you are going to weld a tang extension on I highly suggest using the torch to normalize the weld zone after welding to reduce grain growth due to welding. Not to mention 5160 can air harden somewhat.
Thanks for checking it out. I didn’t show it but the whole tang was heated with the torch after to straighten it a bit anyway. 👍
@@TyrellKnifeworks Good deal, I thought you might have, but didn't see it in the vid, and some viewers might try it without understanding the grain growth and air hardening issue. I've seen knife makers wonder why their tangs broke at the weld before, and experienced it myself. After some destructive testing I much prefer to just silver braze tang extensions on to welding, but even there I do a couple of reducing heats on the area.
Amazing good job man nice working
Thanks for taking a look!
It turned out quite nice. I like it a lot👍👍
Thanks for checking it out, Ramadin!
I want this so badly it hurts! An absolutely beautiful blade.
Thanks for taking a look. This one will be for sale at Blade show west in LA in Oct. 👍
Gute Arbeit 👍
Wow awesome
Thanks for watching, Michelle!
That knife is awesome! Handle material looks great!!
Keep the characters going they were ver humorous also 👍🏼👍🏼😎
I’m glad you liked the added characters. It was a fun video to produce. 👍
This is so awesome you did such a good job with this piece! 5160 really does heat up fast on the grinder though it’s kind of obnoxious. Those grinds are sooooo impressive, great job once again
Thanks Chase! It was a challenging build for sure. Really fun project overall though! 👍
When you think about it. What makes 5160 great (besides the hardness of course) for weapons is that it's great at transferring energy sadly that includes heat.
That would make sense if it was designed for springs.
@@ngcastronerd4791 I actually don’t use a lot of 5160 because most of what I do is Damascus it a friend gave me a leaf spring off his trailer so I thought I’d upcycle it! 👍 Thanks for watching!
Great looking knife, well done!
Thanks, Luke!
That’s awesome
Thanks, Marc! Be sure to checkout tomorrow’s build video, you won’t be disappointed! 👍
Beautiful work it's badass
Thanks David! Badass is what I was aiming for. 😜
@@TyrellKnifeworks you're very welcome and bullseye that copper in the handle sets it off nicely
@@davidpugh4527 this was some of the handle material I picked up at the Blade show. I thought this was a perfect project for it!
First time I have come across your channel this is great! .. subscribed and notifications on! Thanks.
I’m glad you found me!! Welcome!
This is badass I just started watching the show
Thanks for checking it out, Travis! The show’s ending lays out the whole next wave of Marvel movies! 👍
That's a gorgeous take on Loki's dagger.
Thanks for watching! ❤️
@@TyrellKnifeworks My pleasure.
That's one hell of a rough grind sir! And the dagger looks so sick! Kudos
Thanks so much, Vince! This project was a lot of fun and the video has some fun elements in it. 😜
Hello friend, a video about jewelry 3D design has appeared on my channel
This is great
Thanks for watching, Howard! ❤️
That it sick!
Thanks for watching, Marc!
Awesome 😻 good job
Thanks for watching!
Incredible likeness! Watching your forging techniques are excellent but also noticed that your grinding is also amazing. I love watching your work, without a doubt you are a master craftsman! Just a side note, Loki's dagger resembles a WWII British dagger.
This was one of the toughest knives to grind. Those bevels are soooo narrow! Thanks for watching, Steven!
Looks amazing
Thanks for checking it out!
@@TyrellKnifeworks I try to never miss one of your videos.
Thanks! I appreciate that!! 👍
I'm about to try turning a railroad c-clamp into a dagger (so far I've made it flat and cut it into two 5" pieces) and needed some inspiration for where to go
Hi checkout my Loki dagger build. A pair of those would be cool. Warning, that was a really tough grind.
Looks wicked dude! (Loki would be proud....and then probably steal if from you..haha) Awesome job. Fantastic display piece for sure.
Thanks for checking it out, Nelson!
Am fan of this blade
Thanks for checking it out!
@@TyrellKnifeworks lol np! I’ll also be checking out that new Loki series assp
You should if you’re a Marvel fan. I think a lot of future plot starters will begin there!
Looks amazing. Also looks like the dagger from Skyrim.
Thanks for checking it out!
Exquisite!
Thanks, Ralph!

Just found this video and must tell you I Love the dagger , I have a thing about knives anyway , my favorite one I have is an Italian switchblade and an old K-bar from Vietnam I’d like to get one of the daggers like you made but money is tight at this time
Thanks for checking out the build, Timothy! If it makes you feel better, all those daggers and kabars are already sold. 😜
😍 gorgeous
Thanks, Prabha!
very nice
Thanks for watching, Nilton!
Epic!!
Thanks for watching!
I haven't seen the original but this looks like a really cool version of a fairbairne Sykes no3 which is my favourite dagger so it's a win for me..
I was thinking the same thing that it looks like a Fairbairn Sykes. Thanks for watching!
