Having lived in the SH for the last 30 plus years I can verify that this person has her info on lock. I have lived in Lebo, Castle Shannon and Dormont. Lebo is so noice and walkable.
Dormont is getting more and more run down and seedy. Castle Shannon is nice but not walkable at all, Bethel and USC are ok but a little more bedroom community oriented and not as walkable. All the school districts in this region are solid. Depending on what you are looking for you can find it in the SH.
If money were not an object I would prefer a stone tudor in lebo.

The schools are close and it is walkable. I was thrilled to see kids walking to and from school several times I went there.
