- Elden Ring Invisibility or Night Sorcery is a very underrated overpowered class of magic. Mostly known its ability to be completely undetected by enemies, lesser known for how much damage it does. In this video, we'll test its viability by beating the game with just these types of magic.

Where was the invisibility?
dude the Night spells are SO underrated, sure they don't do their full shtick in pvp and they're just a PART of a sorcerers collection of options, but the fact enemies will not dodge or parry the night spells is AMAZING
They are also useful in pve. Enemies who would normally dodge get hit by the night cells. This is even useful against bosses like Malenia.

Ambush shard is hard to land, but god damn it's fun to have in PvP. One of the only spells that will COMPLETELY throw your opponent off their game.
@Sathan's right hand no they're dodgeable but npcs can't see the night sorceries and don't attempt to dodge them.
night sorceries arent just underated, they are actually legit best for pve. Like, no questions asked. highest dps (literally, u can stack staff of loss buff twice for 69% more night sorcery dmg), and bosses don't dodge it
I was going to make a night sorcery assassin build (eventually) but this convinced me that I probably shouldn't procrastinate
Use assassin's gambit in pvp or concealing veil and cast spells while invisible lol. It is so funny to see peoples reaction.
Haven't watched the video but night ambush whatever is your most viable option.
And that sounds SUPER boring. I wouldn't do it. Lightning build sounds way less lame but also trash. Except ADL, which slaughters. At least it has that.
Night magic has...the mist spell, the only useful thing besides ambush on horseback or god forbid malenia. Lmk how right i am but also don't I'm watching the video now

Surprised you didnt use Night Maiden Mist for when you cant cast during attacks as passive damage, its technically night sorcery

I remember on my mage run I heard someone on youtube say enemies couldnt dodge night spells, I then saw that the staff of loss was a 30% bonus, but what sold me on this was when I found the night comet (I was using comet spells as direct upgrades to glintstone pebble) the instant I saw there was a comet night spell I simply blasted through the game effortlessly. finding my new way to deal with malenia without meta weapons as well because shed just eat it for dummy damage each time. Im surprised barely anyone knows how good that spell is
As someone who solely relied on Night Comet to beat Melania, I can say that night sorcery is really good.

It's time for the legendary death's poker build (only using ghostflame ignition)
Night Comet and Rock Sling carried me through my sorcery playthrough. Rock Sling early and mostly Night Comet late. Rock Sling completely destroys Radahn because he chases after you and runs right into it. It took me a while to realize that having a damage bonus stuff off-handed instead of a shield was the way to go but once I did the damage was amazing.
I keep rock sling on me at all times. I use it for dragons, crystalians and other such tricky enemies..
Fun fact night sorceries are even more OP than you thought.
First off if you can get a second staff of loss then the bonus actually stacks muliplictively. So instead of getting a 60% increase you actually get I think a 69% bonus or something like that.
Second casting Night Shard into Night Comet is nearly as fast as just Night Comet only a few 10ths of a second different. So is actually better most of the time.
Third Night Shard does insane damage for it's cost and is great to use alongside say the sacrifical axe for FP regen. It is also a fast casting spell so can be cast while jumping and sprinting for easy and safe damage.
Fourth Ambush Shard isn't actually a night sorcery despite looking like one. Since it doesn't share the other properties of night sorceries.
Small correction: Ambush shard is is described as "One of the night sorceries of Sellia, Town of Sorcery", so it is a night sorcery. Other than that, everything else looks fine. Have a good one
@@GodrickTheGoIden it doesn't receive the Damage increase from the staff of lost.
You can also use staff of loss with Lusat or Azur for more damage or speed so you dont need to do a NG+

@@GodrickTheGoIden according to tests people have done, it does not. You can test it yourself, use a different staff to cast the spell, then do it again with the staff of loss in your other hand. The damage will be the same in both cases, while night shard/comet will have an increase in damage.

I have seen many different cheeses for that early night's calvary while I spent an hour throwing myself at that brick wall until it died.
Been maining night sorcery for a long time now, it's been my favorite build so far, it pairs well aesthetically with the Moonveil. Glad it's not being slept on as much now.

I think the true easiest is a twinblade jumping bleed build, Godskin Duo, Malekith, Gideon, and Godfrey/Hoarah Lux I took down first try (and it was my first try on them all)

Night Comet is amazing. Especially if you use Carian Regal Scepter and use Staff of Loss only for buff in offhand, it becomes incredibly potent.
Now, it is not as efficient as normal glintstone equivalent, but mobs do not react to it, so it is vastly more accurate.

@@MrMastrmonstr It's not targeted at mages, but certain actions by the player instantly trigger actions by the AI (i.e. casting, drinking flask).

Night Comet is probably my 2nd most used spell. Only way to fight quick enemies like the Zamor knights as a sorcerer

I discovered night comet pretty early into my regular sorcerer playthrough and I used it so much man... Good damage and good tracking+ no dodging... 💀
I find it stupid how people consider this a "challenge". Bruh, its not a "challenge" at all. Night sorceries are literally the most OP broken thing in a mage's toolkit (at least for PVE). The entire game is a snooze walk with them. They are THE highest DPS spell and bosses don't dodge them at all.

@@siddharthagrawal6990 I did a Death Sorceries run instead on my channel. It wasn't much of a challenge until the last 2 fights.
12 minute long Elden Beast fight.
Can't get death sorceries until late game so it had to be a NG+ run if it was going to be Death Sorceries only as damage.
The challenge is in how slow they are.
My ring tone is the kingdom hearts fight music that started playing at around 2:00 so I thought I was getting a phone call 🤣
Ok now use the night sorceries for what they are designed for. Do a stealth run (not limited to sorceries)
I did invis sorc for my Journey 4 and it was OP as hell. The damage is just nuts.

I failed at it cuz of an issue, but you could try this idea:
I Beat Elden Ring, but Everything is Mimic Tear
In the run, you have to pick up every nearby item and use whatever you equip. Should use item randomizer for that too.

I am not making a video on it, but I am doing a fists only run. I ran to caelid to pick up the spiked caestus quickly and just started going to town on what I can. Killing the tree sentinel was fun to just punch him to death but I have found some fights can be hard staying in close enough to actually hit with my fists.
