Bio diesel is not your friend. I use to change my 6.7 fuel filters around 10,000 miles, then I started to notice I was loosing some power around 8000 miles. If you get fuel at the same place every time, it probably isn’t a issue but I get fuel all across the country. I now change my fuel filters every 5000 miles and have zero issues.

Wow I just got a new F550 service truck. I'm a cummins guy so this was helpful as I am about to change the FF. Good info and on point. ✌️

    Thanks 👍
Watched your video and changed the filter. Piece of cake
    Seemed easier than the 2014

Nice short and to the point video - we’ll done. Those clips on the coffee can filter are a real bear since each locking device action is a bit different, but totally agree to save the center for last on the removal. It’s interesting to see the difference in the filter cleanliness at the diff mileages around the country. I’m primarily in the the Midwest and run biodiesel 70+% of the time and have been into western Canada and over to Seattle. At 15k miles, the cartridge filter still looks brand new, so I’m extending out to 20k. But if they were dirty at 10k I’d stick to the 10k interval. Thanks for sharing!

i just bought a used 2019 F250 and it had a stored code (but no CEL) about low fuel pressure on the "low side." i figured the factory filters were in there, and when i pulled the tank one out it was nasty. after installing new filters the code cleared itself as expected, but i didn't notice any power loss/gain at all.

Great video! I recently purchased a 2022 F250 with a ranch hand grill Guard. Do you think the Tremor air dam will fit without cutting it around the attachment points to the frame?

Are those metal shavings an indication of your CP3 pump starting to have issues?

We have a 2022 F-350 SD. So far, we've had the dealer do this as it's been using the those ford pass points. But I want to start doing this my self as I've always done my own oil changes in the past with other trucks. But I ask folks, dealers, parts stores, message boards and can NEVER get a straight answer to ONE major question.. What the hell do you do with the diesel fuel you drain out ? Just once I'd like someone to give me an legitimate answer. NO ONE that I've called, including Fire Stations, land fills, hasmat locations, no one will take it!
