    I’m a huge P30 series fan. I have three P30L’s. One is a Langdon Tactical optic cut version with a lazy wolf trigger job. One is a V4.1 LEM with a gray guns flat trigger and the third is a stock V1.
    I have two regular P30’s, one having gray guns flat trigger with lazy wolf trigger job and the other stock V1 with gray guns short reset. Then I have the P30sk V1 with gray guns short reset.
    I agree with your assessments. Coming from an LE career where we were issued Glocks, the only “gripe” I have is with the LEM reset. It’s not bad, but it’s not great and takes a bit to get used to.

      Wow that's a lot of p30's you're a bigger than than I am lol. They really are great, and honestly I feel far better and more reliable than all the modern striker fired hotness that's out there today, nothing wrong with that, in fact I went back and forth between the vp9 and the p30 for a while, settling on all hammer fired. Idk what it is really about my preference. Just seems a little better built.

    I have the P30L V3. I had my gunsmith install the GrayGuns trigger kit. The gun is actually pleasurable to shoot now.

    ..... Dude, I love my P30L V1 .. I am a huge fan of the lite LEM trigger.. I installed LEM kits in all my HK45 full size and compacts, and USP full size and compacts.. also, every other HK pistol I own cam new with the LEM trigger.. The Gray Guns kit reduces the reset so it’s awesome on the P series pistols.. I highly recommend it.. The P30LV1 is just awesome, and I feel it is more robust than the VP9.. That is not a slap to the VP9 as I think it’s awesome too, and I absolutely love mine.. The trigger is great and I have never had any type of malfunction whatsoever with it.. I can shoot fast and accurate with it and love tearing up the course with it.. I just feel the P30LV1 would be better suited for a more hostile environment.. That’s just me though.. all HK pistols are tested far beyond what they will ever be put through... Im just so at home with my P30LV1 it’s like an extension of my arm lol... I feel it’s the best 9mm pistol made today, money aside, you’d be hard pressed to do any better😬👍🇺🇸

    The key is to the internal lock system that is found on the frame in the magwell.
    Grayguns has a short reset system that takes a great gun and makes it fantastic. Highly recommended. A more valuable upgrade than the comp, in my opinion.
    The comp is known not to work well with 115gr ammo by accounts I’ve read, and 125gr can even be iffy. 147gr is recommended for the comp, although I feel like a comp isn’t really necessary on a 9mm pistol to begin with.
    Oh, and I do carry mine regularly. I’m a big guy so concealment isn’t an issue for me.

      The comp was just to look cool and if I need special ammo for it then I won't use it.

    • @TheLegoJoker
      @TheLegoJoker Před rokem

      @@theevenstevenchannel8220 It definitely does look cool. I was tempted to pick one up myself until I found out about all the issues people have. 147gr ammo isn’t always easy for me to find and nobody is ever going to mistake me for John Wick so it’s a huge waste for me. 😂🤣

      On the gray guns website it says LEM/Double Single OR CDA LEM 4.1. Do you know the difference between the two?

    • @TheLegoJoker
      @TheLegoJoker Před rokem

      @@theevenstevenchannel8220 The 4.1 mod is not a factory mod and from what I’ve read it only shortens the initial take up. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong on that. I don’t mind that long initial pull since it’s so light so I never bothered with it.

    Good gun to condier if one doesn't already own it an is looking for a polymer gun. It's priced the same as the Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS...so there's that...do you wnat/NEED a polymer gun iwth an optics cut?? If you're a H'K fan...this gun is the "affordable H'K"....the VP9 /USP are so much more expensive...i thinkt he USP's cost what they do due to nororiety.....They are essentially H'K's "Glock" gun...same blocky grip with a shapelier slide....
    Good to know you can have this gun wthout he manual safety...which some YTers hae complained about..it's placement...

    What grain are you shooting?

    • @theevenstevenchannel8220
      @theevenstevenchannel8220  Před rokem +1

      That was 115 grain. I've heard people say it needs to be a heavier bullet to cycle right, but now you've increased the recoil so I never really tried the compensator again.

      @@theevenstevenchannel8220 im sure HK recommends shooting 124gr. Im not sure if that's just for break in or the life of the firearm. Maybe you should try a few mags with the weight comp before you completely dismiss the comp. Ive been loading up on 124gr just for my two P30's

    • @justindiehl7272
      @justindiehl7272 Před 7 měsíci

      HK recommends 124gr plus when running with a compensator. I’ve heard of many people running 115 with no issues though and I’ve also heard of many people running 124gr and higher for the break in period and then being able to run 115gr with no issues. Basically the best plan of action would be to run 124gr or higher for the break in period at minimum and then try 115 after that, but not to be surprised or put off if 115gr never runs perfect with a comp. because HK does specifically recommend 124gr+ when running with a compensator anyways.

  • @yesihavebedbugs2786
    @yesihavebedbugs2786 Před 9 měsíci +1

    That is the match weight. That is not a compensator. They are not the same. Both attempt to do the same thing. Which is manage recoil.
