I was like 13 years old when I started listening watching your Chanel I’m 26 now lol . That’s for always being here ! Thank you for the your CZcams channel , the workouts .
Thank you for your positive outlook and insight Scooby. I've struggled for years trapped in "what was it all for?" mindset. Great lesson to escape from the toxic notion that it's only about the destination and to enjoy the process more.
I recently opened a Health Food Store with ridiculously low amount of financial investments by simply building most of the furniture myself. I also never pay for gym memberships as I always workout at home and actually have better results then before because of the convenience of exercising at home 😂. Thanks for the inspiration Scooby!
Scooby's videos are the best.. I used to have only 2 dumbbells at home, each 15kg and over the time developed strong pecs.. It's just ridiculous how helpful his videos can get
Hi Scoobs, I'm sorry in case the diagnosis gets confirmed. Still, I'm not surprised to see how you look at it, making the best out of every situation and saying "Hey, it doesn't matter if that was the last time I flew Dolly, I lived it at its maximum". Wow. Thanks for the life advice all these years uncle Scooby 🙏
Nice RV btw I saw fb post . And you’re spot on make most of any situation to your advantage having to adjust ones attitude from ohh my job sucks to hey this job gives me opportunities can change your outlook on life !!! Hope that the vertigo issue has been cleared up in your favour and you are able to keep flying
Ive also learned that mind set is the bread and butter in life. I tend to need reminders every now and then to get back on track. Wich this video actually did. Thanks for sharing Scooby, you are a real inspiration.
Its great to see you so healthy, disciplined, and wise at your age. You have always been a role model for me. Thanks for all the shared wisdom over the years, truly has made a difference in my life. Wish you the best with the vertigo condition.
U r awsome.. deserve good media coverage.. u r the one from whom I learnt bodybuilding at its core than wasting money on chemicals & supplements only , now myself a professionsl trainer who worked in one if US brand GoldsGym in India, Kolkata.. thanks for all your free & priceless sharings.. hope u live another 60yrs or more..
Nothing can keep ol' scooby down. Hope you get it squared away. Something that helps me with "needing" motivation is to mentally list off all the reason I want to do something. Usually by about #3 or 4 I'm headed out the door.
In many ways, i am happy that ive had a life full of adversity. Because it has taught me to adapt and make the best of a situation. People i know are complaining and making excuses with pandemic, oh we cant do this and we can do that etc. Instead of just working around the issue at hand. So the gym is close, go for a walk, ride the bicycle. run, workout at home or even better outside, climbing tree's believe it or not, is a heck of a workout, sure apes are different, but believe me, we humans can get pretty strong as well. So many people just seem to be defeated as the slightest whim, when they get everything to go their way.
Just came across your content from another youtuber and i am very happy i checked you out. You are so incredibly wholsome and your content really does help people. Keep up the good work, you deserve the best and i really do hope your channel grows just as it did in 2012. Thanks for the life advice.
Always enjoy your friendly, mostly positive, practical discussions. I'm not even a bodybuilder and never will be. Bu you look terrific. Vertigo is so horrible -- mine is mostly from bruxism and slightly uneven dentistry from crowns, messing with the nerves in my ear on the left side. There's like 300 possible causes of vertigo, so I hope you had BPPV or something less significant. Best wishes to you and your husband.
Scooby. I've been watching your videos for the last 15 years or so. You're an inspirational human being and your outlook on life is nothing short of admirable. Thank you.
Scooby, BPPV is very common and easily treated with some simple head maneuvers, as you said. Must have been scary if you were flying when it came on, but if that was the cause of your vertigo I doubt it will prevent you from flying once it gets better !
Found your fitness videos more than 10 years ago (before a word in them was even spoken) :) and I still keep on watching and learning new valuable things. What I really like and respect is - you live by the words you say. Taking bad situations as an opportunity to turn into something even better (like with unfortunate doxxing you experienced) is a mastery of living a good life. You are a true inspiration, thank you for everything. Happy you're still making videos, keep up the good work and good luck with medical exams!
I've been watching your videos, and reading your website for a long time now, at least 10 years. Kept telling myself "I'm gonna start excersing and eating better soon". As the years went on, weight got worse until I finally got a physical after like 10 years of no doctor visits. Saw my weight at 353 pounds and it finally hit me, I had to change. Went right back to your videos and website. Did the basics, counted calories and exercised. Just a year and 2 months later, down 160 pounds and joining the Marine Corps. I just wanted to say thank you, you really have helped me change my life for the better! You really are an inspiration, and a great role model. I hope you get to return to flying.
These are some of the most important things to try to internalize to keep life positive and meaningful; they're also some of the hardest for me. But I have been with you and this channel for years to help keep them in the front of my mind during difficult times, so thanks as always, and good luck with your condition.
Great video Scooby and appreciate the advice. Seeing the positive in situations really does make all the difference. I hope you’re able to fly again and if not then enjoy the RV experience :) Thanks for all that you do!
The moment you said "superficial goals", I needed to pause the video and think. You hit the spot of my problems in maybe a minute max. It's time to look deeper into this issue. Thanks scooby!
Hey Scooby, great video as always. I was actually watching it my Dad just now and he loved it, and we both took lessons out of it for our own lives and the different journeys and phases we're in. My grandma has BPPV and that condition has a good prognosis with proper treatment overtime. I have faith you'll be up and flying again, just avoid sudden movements and getting up from a prone or lying down position too quickly. Thanks, for everything.
I get BPV--it's the reason I don't clip into my bike and have parked the road bike in favour of the hybrid. You have to celebrate the things you can do, vs what you can't. Great attitude Scoob. Stay hydrated and find a great vestibular physiotherapist.
Man, I envy you Scooby. You definitely seem to have lived life to its fullest. I'm only 31 and I feel so behind in my life for this age and it doesn't help that I haven't taken very good care of my body. Hopefully I can turn things around for the next 30.
My partner had the same issue regarding vertigo about a month ago, but is slowly recovering. He could not drive for a while, but is doing much better now. Hopefully the doctors can solve the problem and you can fly Dottie again soon. :)

I had debilitating vertigo years ago...I would wake up and the room would be spinning, I would puke it was so bad. The incidences were infrequent, sometimes once a month, sometimes every other month. I retired from my job, was overweight and completely changed my diet with strength training thrown in. Its been 4 years and I haven't had anymore episodes since dropping weight and diet change. I know from watching your videos you eat clean, so I hope the doctors can help you out! Good luck Scooby! Auf Wiedersehen!

I've suffered from Meniere's Disease for 17 years. If I have a vertigo attack, it's not just a question of sitting down. It's a *very* big deal. I'm literally seeing the world spin by in a blur, and it typically lasts for hours. If I had been driving during some of these attacks, I would have undoubtedly crashed the car.
