MY MIDDLE CHILD HAS A PROBLEM

Uriah is an incredibly bright, creative, and innovative individual. He is always coming up with inventions to solve his problems or to make things better, which tells me he is nothing if not a solutionist. For as innovative and engaged as this kid is when it comes to being an inventive scientist, he really doesn't love school. He tends to lose focus, and has a really hard time when we are doing homeschool. I think focus and creativity are two separate things that really rely on each other to create any sort of product, so I really want him to learn that though he may not be interested in school, it does have valuable skills to teach him. The difference between his personalities when creating and when doing homework is DAY AND NIGHT! So if you have an innovative child who dislikes school, what are you doing to motivate them? #BELEAFINFATHERHOOD
