I thank father God for blessing me with my job but at the same time, I hate it, they care more about their bottom line then their employees. I'm planning for my exit, I refused to quit and stop the checks, keep dreaming and scheming for my great escape.

Such BULLSHIT!!! I can DO ANYTHING that I put my mind to but I refuse to work fucked up hours or what I call "teenager" hours which are weekends or late nights. I'm 54 years old and I feel that I have EARNED the right to NOT have to settle for bullshit rotating schedules or weekend hours. Give me a break.
I work at Publix right now and I hate it. They have me close every single weekend, and the customers are the most frustrating part of the job, People leave trash everywhere, steal, and it’s either stupid people, old farts with chips on their shoulders, and customers or coworker that wanna be petty and try you just to see where you’re at. To me I think the only way out is to go back to school even though I still have bills to pay.
I hope you were able to go back to school.Retail sucks,I spent close to 6 years in retail.I put up with the very stuff you are talking about,and this was in the 70s and early 80s!! It has to be so much worse now........

Worked at a place were we got 7 days. I got the experience and quit after a year haha - fucking joke.

i gave my boss almost a year advance notice and still have fear of losing those days of vacation. 🤔
