  • Scott has been a Minister in the Church of Scotland for 28 years. His areas of interest include the relationship between religion and science; interfaith work; personal spirituality and, the mystical traditions of faith. He has served parishes in Uddingston, Edinburgh and Ayr. Scott has been involved in the public discussion on assisted dying for over 10 years, including direct involvement with the late Margo McDonald’s campaign to introduce assisted dying legislation in the Scottish Parliament. In his presentation Scott outlines why having religious beliefs is not a barrier to supporting legal assisted dying.
