Ally Thomson - Dignity in Dying

Ally Thomson has been the Director of Dignity in Dying Scotland since 2017 and is a passionate campaigner for choice at the end of life and other equality and human rights issues. Her background is in communications and influencing. Ally’s previous roles include leading communications and campaigns in Scotland for the British Red Cross and the Equality and Human Rights Commission where she worked on issues such as refugee and asylum rights, equal marriage and pregnancy discrimination. In her presentation Ally uses Dignity in Dying campaign work to show how supporters of assisted dying can most effectively campaign for a change to the law in Scotland.
