Out for a walk in the sunshine in my local area, so I thought I would combine this walk with a flight with views over Sutton at Hone, Darenth, South Darenth, and Horton Kirby. As the Peregrine falcons are currently nesting in the paper mill chimney, I kept a distance of 400+ metres and cropped the footage in post-production. Believe me, walking to different locations to launch my drone to capture this footage was quite time-consuming. I hope you agree, it was worth it!

My Potensic Atom is a sub 250g drone. Drones under 250g are authorised to be flown in the sub category A1 (as well as A2 and A3). Drones under 250g can be flown in residential, recreational, commercial, and industrial areas provided that area is within an allowed airspace.

I display my operator's ID on my Drone. I have passed the UK Civil Aviation Authority's (CAA's) official online theory test to obtain a Flyer's ID, although this is currently not required as an operator of a sub 250g drone in the UK.
When operating a drone or model aircraft that’s below 250g, you can fly closer to people than 50m and fly over them. You can’t fly over crowds.

That footage is so good is the camera 4k. Does it have decent flying time. Also would you advise only using a drone in very good weather.
I've no idea but im guessing thats about 300 ft above the lakes

This drone's highest resolution and frame rate is 4K/30fps. The flight time is approximately 20 minutes per battery, however, the combo kit comes with three batteries. When placed in the charger dock, all 3 batteries charge to full in 90 minutes. I was flying at about 200 to 250 feet due to the pylons and high voltage cables, which can cause transmission interference. The only downside to this drone is it does not have obstacle avoidance, but for £369 I can live with that. I used to own drones ranging from £1400 to £2000, this drone does all I need as I will mainly be using it as a b-roll camera in the future. I hit the buy now button as I got it reduced from £369.99 to £319.99 😉
The drone is rated to level 5 winds ( 19 - 24 mph. 8.5-10.5 m/s. ), I have been out in gusts of 20 to 25mph and (with common sense) the drone handled fine. You cannot fly in the rain, and very cold conditions will affect the flight time.
