- Workers at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Vancouver walked off the job on Tuesday. As Joe Sadowski reports, the one-day job action comes as workers have been without a contract for nearly two years.
There are people who are struggling to find jobs, yet Hyatt workers want $40/hr? The Hyatt workers on strike could just easily be replaced
The Hyatt should definitely pay these workers more✅🙌
Never stayed at a Hyatt but it must be very clean, almost sterile. if so give them the wage they are asking. It’s horrible to stay in a dirty hotel.
they should ask for 130 /hr not 40/hr because you will never make enough money to cover your bills , on today ' s prices !
All these corporations breaking profit records and giving ceos massive bonuses time to share with the employees
They make that much for this basic enough work and they're asking for that much more?
$40/hr for hotel cleaning?
😂 🛑
Look at the LCBO...they make near that just to stock shelves.
Thats actually insane
@@JessT-vg7ibthat's messed up
@@DaKrawnik That's the public sector for you...just look at the city of Toronto...we have major problems to deal with and one of their major priorities is changing the name of Ryerson University.
A lot of strikes in times of pride by the god of this world Satan not GOD a Spirit
Wow good job be safe
There are many immigrants that will do their jobs. Why dont the Hyatt employees ask for 1 million dollars a hour. Makes as much sense.
