There has always been a Jewish presence in Israel, long before the UN even existed, always. Then when more Jews started coming back into Israel in the 1900's they didn't steal any land. They purchased all of it. Then when the surrounding countries started attacking Israel throughout the decades Israel won even more land. Then they gave some of the land back in the pursuit of peace. This is all recorded history and a good starting point for anyone who wants to research it, and be sure to research it honestly :-)

Haj Husseini in the early 1900`s before World War One declared that the Land belonged exclusively to muslims. Also believed that all Jews had to be eradicated from the Land. That is the basis of the conflict. There was the British mandate of palestine but never a state of palestine. In the Arab world the area was known as Southern Syria, The Holy land, or the land of the Jews. You cannot steal something from someone if they never actually owned it. The Arab league had already decided that there would never be a state of palestine, the plan was for Jordan to annex the land. Keeping mind that the British partitioned off 78% of the mandate to create the country of Jordan. hamas falls lock step with the corrupt dictatorial khomeini regime of Iran. In the late 1950`s the soviet KGB came up with the term palestinian for purely political propaganda purposes. Because saying "palestine belongs to the palestinians" makes for good propaganda.

I usually agree with Kirk but in this case let's remember who founded Hamas, it was Israel who founded Israel. I don't doubt that Israel has good people but this issue between Israel and Palestine was started a long time ago by the UN.
