I am first generation Hispanic in this great nation and have a home totally paid for as well as rental properties also paid off and paid for the tuition's and books, housing...etc.For my children who attended a 4 year uni. They are doing very well for them selves and I hope they take my choices as a model for their own lives. All of this is because my father worked hard and encouraged me to attend uni and make something of my self. He only had a 6th grade education because he was needed to work my grandfather's farm back in the old country but he went to night school here in the states and made something of himself.

Marrying the government is welfare. When the government supplies your income and controls your life style it is taking the place of your father in your family. A father is responsible for discipline and training. In a single mother family that has either gone or been lessened and the kids suffer without those.

Yup and that’s exactly why crime is so high in those communities too, particularly among young boys seeking brotherhood and community. A family is not designed to be run by one parent alone, it’s too much strain. A lot of it is also cultural. There is a glorification of crime and single motherhood and transactional relationships in these communities which is why the rates are much much higher

  • @sportsfaninternational1614

Did you notice his response when asked why the single motherhood rate had jumped by more than 50% since the sixties? "Who care". Tells you all you need to know about his agenda! And also about his PRETENDING to care about Black Americans.

Yeah… if every person who looks European had generational wealth then I suppose he might have a point. Lots of people (my family included) were in Eastern Europe some being serfs or for the branch from the upper class had their generational wealth confiscated by the Bolsheviks and were lucky to escape with their lives and maybe some pennies in their pocket.
The word “slave” comes from “Slav”. So just like 2 million people came from Africa after slavery had ended, many millions of European people fled persecution in the early 1900s, and many were descended from slaves or serfs also.

I would not say that Charlie Kirk “humiliates “ a young liberal. He gives the young man something to think about outside of the propaganda his education has foisted on him. In fact, it’s possible the young man may not ever change his mind, but, depending on how propagandized he is, he may make excuses that will allow him to continue thinking how he was taught.
So, I think he was introduced to a new way of thinking about the real differences existing between Black culture and every other culture in the U.S. It’s up to him how he handles this new information.

To propose the idea that a "difference of 150 years to build wealth" is a red herring. It acts as though we are all on the same journey and the more generational wealth you have is the only metric that mattered. (in the proposed idea) If people are set on the same playing field at different times, they arent the same people set at those original times. If i start investing and my neighbor didnt 150 years from now my money would have grown sure, but since the time had passed a new genaration is already on a better playing field than i was on. Most of the general public today is wealthier than people who came here on ships.

This practice of marrying the government has also affected white people. But adding to it, the intentional placement of Planned Parenthood clinics into black communities across the country and the devastating effects of LBJ's efforts did what he intended.
What has happened is a CULTURAL shift - that is more deeply entrenched in the black community than in the white community.
A man, fathering many children by many women, and abandoning them - still is viewed as a negative thing in white communities. A woman, having several children by several different men - still is viewed as a negative thing in white communities. Those things exist in both communities, but the negative effect of changing the culture to accept it as normal or even a rite of passage - only exists in the black communities in our country. ........ and LBJ did it intentionally, hand in hand with Margaret Sanger.

I don't know what it is that makes so many black men turn their backs on their children, but I think it has a lot more to it than just being oppressed by white people. If people want to solve theirbproblems, they need to look inward, not outward. That's not to deny that this world is often unfair. Ugly people have less opportunities than pretty people. The ease and overall acceptance of abortion as birth control gives the males in the neighborhoods the "out" of irresponsibility.
Is taking advantage of free stuff also a response to the ingrained attitude of "it's owed to me"? - Absolutely! But that was not the attitude of blacks in the 1950's. That attitude was created by race hustlers like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, at the behest of racists like LBJ - who wanted to put blacks onto the Democrat voting plantation. Today, that attitude of "all my ills are due to the white man's great, great, great grandfather" (who didn't even own a slave) - and promoted by the race hustling media, still doing the wishes of the racist Democrat party.
The selfishness of ME surely is at play today. For blacks - it is played out in going along with the race baiters who promise to "do for the black people, at the cost of others".

Why do they come here and thrive and in 1 to 2 generations surpass any western person that feels oppressed? We are spoilt here and do not know what real oppression is so we don't understand that we have a good life so we squander it.
