    the reason brazilians usually play that well is because (most of) our children start playing (at least on late 90's and early 2000's) playing on streets with really small goals made of flip flops (usually 2 or 3 steps wide) and also a small distance between them, so we learn pretty soon how to do quick dribbles for small places to pass through (a futsal simulation, lol, cuz' futsal is an awesome training for players and Ronaldinho started on streets and went to futsal before going to 'regular football').

    Ronaldinho is considered the most skilled player in history by many . conquered many important titles in its peak that unfortunately lasted only a short time. He does not have a career like that of Cristiano and Messi. But at its peak it was the best the world saw with the ball at its feet. his charismatic and Brazilian way enchanted the world. Because Brazil is considered the country of football. It inspired players, it won everything a player can win. made history in the selection where he won a World Cup (most important football championship). He's a legend. The Magic Maker a brazillian dance style player with insane skill Assisted mentored Messi and passed on the torch one of just eight players to have won the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the Ballon d'Or only player ever to have won a World Cup, a Copa América, a Confederations Cup, a Champions League, a Copa Libertadores and a Ballon d'Or Ronaldinho is the only player on Earth to hold all the possible major titles: World Cup, Champions League, Copa Libertadores, Confederations Cup, America's Cup, Spanish League, Brazilian League, Italian League, French League... The guy has more titles than Pele and Maradona combined. Messi and Ronaldo can only dream to clean his shoes. yea the crosbar play is real

    Brazilian here, dope reaction! I've seen him compared to Larry Bird by NBA fans and after watching some docs about Larry I can definitely see that, also when people compare lets Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to Ronaldinho that like comparing the OG's to modern players like LeBron and that's when you get into endless arguments about stats but from all I've seen I don't care about Bron stats, Bird was the best to ever do it IMHO (ofc both MJ's and other OG's too).

    The part where he hits the crossbar consecutively is an an advert and is fake. Btw it doesn’t not make him probably the most technically gifted player football has ever seen!

  • @arturog.faustoberumen7336

    Ronaldinho is probably the most creative great player ever (there have been other very creative players, but none who were as effective as him while having so much fun inventing). One of his favorite athletes as a kid was Magic Johnson, and it shows with the flair, the no-look passes, and just the sheer joy with which he played.
    But he's very clearly not the best player ever, in large part because he just didn't take the game seriously enough after winning pretty much everything (league titles, Champions League, World Cup, etc.) by age 26. He loved partying and he didn't watch his weight. At his peak between 2004-2006 he was absolutely brilliant, but he just didn't have the sustained greatness that guys like Messi, Pele, Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Cruyff, Beckenbauer, and Ronaldo (R9) had, which is why you'll rarely see him in any expert's top 5 all-time list. Top 5 talent? Probably. GOAT career? Almost certainly not.
    He'll be the first to tell you that Messi is the best ever, and given that he played with Messi while Lionel was just a teenager, he'd know just how ridiculous Messi is. Lio isn't quite as creative as Ronaldinho but he doesn't have to be. Messi's direct, simple football is art, and his vision, ball control, and agility are almost unparalleled.

No one wanted any of this ponytail flying down the pitch juking everyone and their mom while smiling at them and sending a no-look pass.

  • @magnezon1
    @magnezon1 Před 2 lety +1

    He actually didn't make that much, back in the 00s football didn't gave as much money to players as it does today, plus he left for a while and then came back, but the quality that makes him (at least imo and i'm sure i'm not alone on this one) a 1 of 1 in the history of football is that his playstyle was never about money, trophies or recognition, he just brought the raw magic and happiness of the neighborhood football to the best leagues in the world, ofc he won trophies, balon d'ore, world cup, you name it but that's far from what trully inspired all those who saw him play.
    There are many great players in the history of football, that have won more than him or even have much better stats, messi, ronaldo, c.ronaldo, iniesta, kaká, pirlo, pele, beckembauer, khan, amongst many others, but noone ever (even to this day) brought that same playstyle full of magic, passion and dreams.

    • @antoniocantatore3195
      @antoniocantatore3195 Před 2 lety

      Brazil do have an history in creating good players which doesn't necessarily means they are the best.
      Let's be honest, since few years ago Brazil has been a huge "vivarium" for rich european teams that just used to pick the ones that were somehow promising for very cheap.
      And even if recently the price of football players is over the moon basically worldwide due to the large waste of money of teams like PSG and Manchester City did overpaying players just to flex or to get that "toy" they wanted at any cost, Brazil is still a good vivarium as well as very cheap considering the rest.
      Everyone remember the fantastic players that came from Brazil but we also remember tons of flops.
      Seems logic that Brazilian league can't buy most of European players 'cause they simply can't afford even a decent one considering the differences economically.
      Some players that play in major European leagues are worth more than an entire team in Brazil.

    I see that many young football fans haven't even heard of Ronaldinho, and that's sad.
    Ronaldinho is the only true football genius of all time born on this planet. The speed of reaction, the explosive sprints, the agility, the quick thinking, the orientation on the field, the impeccable technique and the desire to play out of love for the art of football make Ronaldinho unique in the history of football.
    When Messi made his debut in Barcelona's first team Ronaldinho was there, delighting the fans with the art of real football. I'm sure Ronaldinho was an example that Messi followed seriously. Even Messi's first goal for Barcelona was scored from a ball received from Ronaldinho.
    Short answer, Ronaldinho is the only absolute master wizard in the history of football.

You do t even get a chance to be physical against him and he has superb core strength and balance so it’s almost impossible when he’s dribbling like that. He’s the most entertaining footballer ever. A lot of players of todays role model. Also Brazilians as while are probably the best nation in football in the first 2 out of the last 3 decades. This past decade they have declined but still could win a major trophy so there not to far off the top teams. I would only say France are clear of them. Maybe a few others (like Germany, Argentina) but debatable.

First world cup I watched was in 1994 and we were champions, then we made to another final in 98 and we were champions again in 2002 and the superiority was always absurd. The level of pressure those giys had from the media and fans in brazil was crazy, if they didnt win by more than 3 goals they would be slammed by media. Anyways I dont think Germany, argentina, spain are better than brazil right now, and France hmmmm they were better in 2018 and brazil got stronger imo, but honestly anyone can win, there are 5 or 6 nations that could make it

    Yes, Brazil has produced the best players. No other nation has had more players among the best in history. We can talk about Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Neymar, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Kaka, Marcelo, Casemiro, Dani alves, Carlos Alberto, zico, Socrates, Garrincha, Pele, and many more. All legends

      And, let's remember, Pele is the best ever. He was waaay ahead of his time, won three world cups and was the most complete player ever.

    South Americans, specifically Brazilians bring a flare to the game Europeans just lack. Like a type of samba soul or something
