His older brother, Assis, was also an amazing player, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho came from another galaxy. Actually, R9 was called Ronaldinho, but he became Ronaldo, to be different from Ronaldinho Gaúcho. "inho" in Portuguese means younger or smaller. "Gaúcho" mens someone from the Brasil's South, it is also used in Argentina and Uruguay, GAÚCHO is a countryside southern guy.

The most entertaining footballer i ever saw. Wether it was playing in PSG, Milan or Barcelona. Always smiling, even when he was assasinating you on the pitch. Would have wanted to see him a longer time in Barcelona. He would have had more wonderful years playing with young Messi. He is the only person in this World who hates Ronaldinho e we all brazilians hate him because he did not summon Ronaldinho to the World Cup 2010. Since this episode, we call him "Dunga Burro" that means "fool/dumb/idiot/donkey Dunga". Ronaldinho started his carrier in Grêmio team and Dunga is idol of Internacional team, this team with red shirt and white short. Both teams are eternal rivals because they are from the same city and almost matches between them they start a fight.

Great Reaction Guys!! Well I've been blessed to be watching football since the mid 1960s so I was lucky to watch Pelé Cruyf Maradona and many other great players including Messi and Cr7 but no other player has given me the same level of joy and pleasure to watch him play as Ronaldinho. Back in the day it was a pleasure to watch Pelé because he was the only one playing at another level than the rest but still he wasn't so flashy as Ronaldinho. He could've accomplished a lot more with his Skills and his magic but sadly, he thrashed his football career so early by becoming a party animal caring more about night parties and ladies.

Dudes...Ronaldinho was the most skilled player to ever step on a Pitch and i enjoyed every game he played for Barcelona. But his peak was short lived. He was as skilled in going out partying :D so his performance could be brilliant or abismal, depending on the day he had. Messi is something else, he has been on a incredible high level for over 10 years. EVERY SINGLE MATCH! So even Ronaldinho who was a mentor and is a friend of Messi says his not on Messis level.
