Dinuguan, Papaitan & Kaldereta 🇵🇭 | Trying Filipino Food in Burnaby

- I went to Burnaby in Vancouver to try Filipino foods for the first time. Watch me react to Dinuguan (pork blood stew), Beef Kaldereta (beef stew) and Papaitan (a bitter soup tripe and offal). The Pinoy restaurant I went to is also known for many other dishes like tinola and pork menudo. This restaurant had a great selection of dishes from the Philippines to try and it is one of the best in the "Little Manila" neighbourhood of Vancouver.

Reggie Ate: Dinuguan (pork blood stew), Papaitan (Filipino offal soup) & Beef Caldereta (Filipino stewed beef)
Dinuguan and caldereta goes well with patis or fish sauce. ☺️
Ty❤
All that food you eat, my fav is that 3 dishes, so satisfying.
My favorite Dinuguan and Pancit! Yummy.

During fiestas Filipinos serve dinuguan and pancit bihon.
my favorite dinuguan 🤤🤤🤤
COMFORT......exactly what filipino food is.....that is why its underrated and looked over....a lot of westerners are snobbed over filipino dish, to the point they don't appreciate and overly compare it with other asian dishes. Little do they know how good it is
I like eating meals with the right silverware (spoon and fork).
Not plastic.
Spoon and fork is the way you are right!
Now that's a meal. 🍽
Such a great find!
Yummy food 😋😍

papaitan comes from "pait" which is "bitter" in tagalog. you're correct the broth is flavored with bile.

You forgot to get dessert 😭
Question for you: Of all the asian foods you've tasted, do you have a preference if given a choice and why?
I like Bicol Express a lot. I also really like Indonesian dishes. Honestly I love it all.
Do they sell all those cooked foods in one day? Or do they recycle them everyday?
Dinuguan best paired to our Puto(rice cake)
Ohhhh I’ll look for puto!
have you tried Bicol Express or Binagoongan?
Yes, both delicious! I need to try again!
The carinderias in the US and Canada are clean, appetizing and more quality meats for the money. There are no varieties and overloaded with Jollibees everywhere. Only poor people eats in our carinderia
That counter lady doesnt know what shes talking about…for condiments dont put vinegar when eating diniguan!
Pwede suka sa dunuguan
Going to ph actual dishes serve you unless your food opinion is original, orig is orig😂
Hopefully soon!
You are eating like a filipino now, putting the meat on top of the rice then bam!
