- I travelled to Chinatown in vancouver to try Filipino foods for the first time. Watch me react to Ilocos Pancit (Stir-fried Egg Noodles,Vegetables, with Tocino, Pork, and Fried Egg). Chinatown is a historic area of Vancouver with incredible food and this hawker style food court happened to have the cuisine of the Philippines! I also take you for a walking tour of Chinatown in Vancouver.

Reggie Ate: Ilocos Pancit Canton & Tocino (Filipino Sweet Cured Pork)
This is why I subscribe your channel, no intro, no outro, open the camera straight to the point "I just got a new haircut" no background music, just an ordinary guy eating.
Thank you brother! What dish next!?
underrated YT channel
you mostly exlpored other foods of PH than most of Filipinos kudos to you!
I find the regional differences very interesting!? What’s a new region to explore?
@@unculturedtravel if you found these food items available to try almondigas, tuna kilawin (ceviche like) and grilled hito (catfish) that you dip in toyomansi with chili.
looking good with the new haircut! 👍
SARAP NAMAN
I found your channel while looking for places to eat in Florida/Carolina and became an instant fan. Im just finding out now we are from the same city (Vancouver)!??? Anyway, you are killing it.
Thanks man, fav spot in Van?
@@unculturedtravelprobably le pho on hastings their hot and sour pho is unreal.
The cane vinegar is for the pork
New subscriber here, from Arizona. I’m glad you tried some Filipino food. There’s a lot more to try, such as beef caldereta, pork and chicken afritada and many more.
Afritada! On the lookout!
It's surprising to know that there's even a Filipino restaurant in Chinatown. Normally most folks would only expect Chinese ones as the name would suggest.
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching! What dish next?

You used vinegar wrong brother, mostly vinegar is a dipping sauce of our fried dishes. Don't put vinegar on other dishes if they are not fried. I promise youll enjoy it with fried dishes. Like that fried pork it's so good.
Thanks! So dip the pork in vinegar?
@@unculturedtravel Y es, Vinegar sauce is used to dip that friend pork.
@@aistories0506He has been eating a ton of Filipino food and yet, he still doesn't know how and when to use vinegar. 😂
It would taste better if you dip the pork to the vinegar.
Thank you! I will remember to!
LoL your accent makes me chuckle. Its pronounced "Pan Sit", you say "Pan Seat"
Haha thank you! I knew I was pronouncing something wrong! Would this be “Pan Sit” Canton?
Hi reggie, you should try our 'Tinumis" nueva ecija version of dinuguan since you're a fan of dinuguan, we use tamarind leaves instead of common dinuguan which uses vinegar, it's somehow taste like a totally different dish.
Amazing I will look for this!
What region / city is it from?
@@unculturedtravel central Luzon, the province of Nueva Ecija.
Wet pansit is called Mami in northern part of phillipines
Cool! What is the main meat used?
Thank you!
Depends... usually beef
On Batchoy theres alot. With pork liver, intestine, chicharon, spring onions.. eith Fried garlic... so good
what do you mean by wet, and how far north? Because mami to me is a soup, and my wife is from Laguna province on Luzon
Should've matched it with Coca Cola.
Truth!
bro looks like a convict no offense
Enjoying good food though 😂
@@unculturedtravelyeah that is more important
He's gr0ss... shoving a big piece of meat into his mouth and same with the noodles. It seemed like he hasn't eaten a decent meal in weeks.
