Adobong Kambing, Estofadong Baboy & Leche Flan đŸ‡”đŸ‡ | Trying Filipino Food in Elmhurst Queens

  • I went to Elmhurst, Queens to try Filipino Foods for the first time. Watch me react to adobong kambing (goat meat adobo) and try pork estofado (stewed pork knuckle with fried plantains). I enjoyed this comforting Filipino cuisine in New York. That is my first time trying goat adobo and goat meat in any Filipino cooking and I really enjoyed it. The Filipino Estofado was delicious as well. For dessert I try leche flan (Filipino Creme Caramel). This is one of the best Filipino restaurants in Queens and I highly recommend going as they offer turo turo (point point) style Filipino buffet. Go try Pinoy food, it's a new world to discover if you love trying new tastes!

That Queens area is honestly legit authentic Filipino Food paradise... They arent trying to reinvent our filipino dishes but instead staying true to authentic Filipino recipes... We love it!. By learning filipino food you have found a way to communicate to filipinos in a dialect all filipinos understand... 😅

I know! I love that it is not all fusion. Jersey too, they just make traditional dishes and cater to Filipino people. It is what makes New York great, restaurant owners don’t have to break from tradition to cater to new markets. There are enough of a nationality to support the real stuff.

You can either use pork, shrimp, and fish. Easy to cook, healthy and it's also a good hangover soup if you're a drinker. Also a good partner in cold weather. Well even if it's not cold you can still cook it and enjoy it.

Man you gotta have more rice. That's very little for such a big chunk of meat. Whenever viands are that scrumptious and delicious, you really gotta take like 2 or 3 mouthfuls of rice.
