    First, this is a bar table as noted in the title. It is 7'x3.5'. I am unsure what Pubs have but that is usual bar table for a bar. If anyone buys a table they are available in 7', 8', and 9'. Most buy the bar table in the US so they can practice with same size. I did not hear it was Philippines but the sport there is #2 only behind basketball which is #1. I do not watch or play basketball, although I did play a boy in the neighborhood in Cabanatuan City when I was there in the Philippines. I have seen racking done by hand in professional play! Rionel, I was blessed to play in Makita at a Reyes Pool Hall where a student of Reyes was part of family. He beat me 2 of 3 although my adopted son was having a clot removed in his brain for a motorcycle accident... Wear your helmet!

    • @bungal251
      @bungal251 Před 10 lety

      Yes. it must of been a bar table which is usually 7 x 3.5. In the Philippines they are 9, but that is in the pool halls. They do not have bars, per say, except, maybe in Angeles City were many Nam Vets from many countries seek the beautiful women and they are very beautiful! You see many Hogs there driving up and down!

    After the fluke on the 9, the commentator said:
    "Dennis is embarrassed by that. He doesn't wanna win that way."
    This is bullshit. Of course he does. A player will take a win regardless of how. If he really didn't want to win a game that way, it would not matter. The rule says you win if you pocket the nine ball.

      Jaezel, did it say Philippines or are you just mentioning it? I have played there, even at Reyes Pool Hall in Makita. I always had problems playing my Filipino brothers as they are good. It was usually 50/50. Manny bought the gym in Baguio where I use to play. Later I was told the pool hall was removed? Cooyesan Mall on Nagillian Rd. I played the manager there and he was winning 2 of 3. I began practicing online with a Jeanine game dvd. I finally was winning over half.

    dhan is right in a way. usually when your on fire in a tourney, you do get a few rolls your way, aka lucky. so when you shoot good you usually get a few lucky rolls and bounces. BUT, mr 73172 is right too, any first timer or shooters in a shitty league can and do get very lucky! but its easy to distinguish the two lol :) shane hands down is destroying everybody right now. his breaks you cant stop and therefore you cant stop him, esp in 9 ball.

  • @el0rg
    @el0rg Před 11 lety

    I can pretty much guarantee there's not one professional player that prefers the TV ball (with the red dots). The only reason that ball exists is so spectators can see the spin they put on the cue ball on TV, it has nothing to do with professionalism. This wasn't on TV, it was streamed on the internet by TAR, who are probably the most professional guys in the business right now.
    They're also playing on (arguably) the best equipment there is as far as bar tables go.

    nah Shane is not his grandson. Ken and Shane are just better friends than Ken and Dennis. Dennis just kinda keeps to himself for the most part, while Shane is always in the mix wherever he is which is why, IMO, people tend to favor him more. All three of them are pretty cool guys.

      Melon Head Well, to be fair, they’re supposed to get the same rack every time, even when the ref racks. That’s not possible with a traditional rack. Sure it leaves the margin for error and makes you wonder if they’re going to make a ball on the break. But these guys are the top players in the world so if they make a ball on the break they’re out anyway.
