everything you said about the valve stem location and stem vs band is 100% correct
Right on Rich,
Thanks for the confirmation.

cool little gadget - and I love how you know all the Panther "easter eggs"
Right on W Dandy,
The Easter eggs are hidden in the owners manual. Lol

I didn't know that thinking all town car had it. On my 2008 model I get a low tire warning light. All I do is get out my air pump, air up the tire. At that point when I reach 35 psi it goes off. Sometimes it will stay on I start driving then it goes off. You're right it doesn't help safety wise to prevent accidents but it helps having one. I see a lot of cars and trucks with very low rear passenger tire in the summer time. That's an instant tire blow out. Another big help I have aluminum chrome rims that doesn't hold in air for long compared to steel rims. When it reaches 19 to 20 psi the TPM light turns on. Helps me alot from wasting gas or a blow out...
Right on JC,
Thanks for watching, and the great feedback.
I’ve never seen you around here before.
Welcome to the club, and prepare to be disappointed. lol
-Chuck
Back to actually watch this time panzer
I like the personal touch with the story bro.. you gave us a lil more panzer than we expected and we greatly appreciate it
Right on King,
I really don't like rambling like that, it makes me nervous.
But If you like that kind of stuff, you'll love Wednesday's upload. I filmed my first "Q&A Video", and I did it in a Vlog style while driving around in my cars.
The whole time I pretended you were in the passenger seat, and I was just talking to you.
It helped me be less nervous. lol

Thank you very much Sir I would have never thought there would be a tool for the TPMS.
Right on Happy,

Neat tool! Unfortunately I'm still back in 05, ha!
Right on Nathan,
You're a young man.
Surely your '05 T/C won't be your last Panther Car. lol

Yo there Chuck! Always great to catch up on your vid's. It's awesome to see you knocking out so many vid's and it's pretty awesome about the TPMS giveaway too. Well done!

Awesome video! Congrats on 2k subs and the sponsored video! TPMS really doesn't seem to make a difference for me, its handy but not a must-have/dealbreaker.
Right on B-rad,
I'm a fan of the technology.
But the way the federal regulation was written, and its implementation leaves a lot to be desired.
The US Government should have never allowed manufactures to use "indirect systems" using just wheel speed sensors to infer differences in tire diameter.
If they would have made "direct systems" mandatory with a live real time displays in the instrument cluster it would have been a little better. But the increased the cost per vehicle would have been too high.
So we just got a half-hearted attempt in response to the Firestone / Ford Explorer disaster circa 1996.
-Chuck
2011 Vic, I'm in it to win it!
Right on MM,
That's the spirit.

I curbed and destroyed two rims and tires in one go last year on my Vic.. Hit the curb so hard I had to sit at the side of the road and debate life for a minute .. It's crazy how much you were able to watch the tire pressure fluctuate with highway speeds and heat. Back when I had my first car and I worked in a tire shop, I put a set of high performance all seasons on my Malibu , and I filled them to 32psi , and on a random hot day I had a weird feeling about the pressure so I checked it, and they were all at 41psi , and I know I didn't put that much in, so I dropped them back to 32psi.. Now I wonder if on cool days my tires had less than 30psi.. That car never had tpms so I never really watched the pressure super closely. You're doing really well with your subscribers. Keep up the good work , my and other panther enthusiasts appreciate you lots. Believe me or not I sat through the whole video like I always do lol
Right on Chris,
Thanks for the kind words.
I still don’t know why people keep coming back to this digital landfill.
Don’t watch my videos all the way through, those are minutes you’ll never get back. lol
-Chuck
@@PanzerPlatform That is okay , not everybody needs to understand how great you really are. The proof is in the pudding , your subs are skyrocketing .. That won't happen if you have poor content
You Put out great videos don't shortcut yourself sir
Oh no,
You must have made it to my "opinion rant". Lol
I rarely, rarely offer my opinion in my videos. I've only done it one other time.
-Chuck
Neet, also do you have Blackbox's battery box? I'm thinking about getting it so the hard wire kit doesn't drain the battery
Right on Captain,
If you're talking about the external battery to run parking mode on a dash cam, I do not.
For may application, I don't need parking mode. Just regular recording while driving.
-Chuck
Hello Chuck, does this procedure work with new OEM band type sensors? My light keeps coming on and the tires are fully inflated so I want to put motorcraft band style to keep it original. They are programmed but say they need relearn procedure.
Yes, my 2010 MGM is still on the original set of TPMS sensors as shown in the video.
Maybe your batteries are dead in the sensor.
-Chuck
I have a 2011 P71 and had the driver's door window motor replaced. Ever since my TPMS & Door ajar lights have been on. I've had my tire pressure sensors checked and the Discount Tires guy did a key cycle e-brake sequence that didn't work and only I unprogrammed my key fobs.
I found a thread online about this issue but no exact answer was given. Possibly a bad Driver's Door Module (DDM) or pinched wire, and those were the only ideas I saw.
Have you come across this issue or heard of it before?
Thank you for any ideas or information you may have. I really appreciate it!
Yo Kreal,
Thanks for stopping in.
It sounds like you will be looking for a broken, damaged, or pinched wire. I would not spend any money replacing any parts. You should be able to find the malfunction with a basic multimeter / test light / circuit tester, and some good service literature / wiring diagrams.
Also a good, bright flashlight, and a thorough visual inspection. Maybe look for animal, rodent damage, (chewed wires). It may help to get the car up in the air like on jack stands / lift.
Keep in mind when chasing electrical problems on police model Vics, all bets are off due to each agency having different customization methods, and also the way they are decommissioned by "cutting wires" to remove police equipment.
Here's a video how to get free service literature / wiring diagrams;

I used this tool and my tire pressure light turned off for about 3 weeks. Then it came back on. I'm thinking I should refill my tires since its been a while since I checked.
Right on Jojo,
Thanks for watching.

2008 Crown Victoria
Will the trainer work for this vehicle, and is it done the same way as the grand marquis? Also im assuming this wont work if the tpms inside the tire is faulty?
Yo JDR,
Yes, it will work on any Panther Car 2008 - 2011.
-Chuck
Hey panzer, so if i buy this gadget off of Amazon and follow your tutorial. It will reset the tpms sensors and the light will still work if i lose tire pressure?
This tool is for relearning new sensors after replacement.
It does not change how the factory system operates.
-Chuck
Hey Chuck, I've got a weird question about the Headlights for the 1998 Panther Platforms. I want to order a pair of Projector Headlight Replacements for my Grand Marquis, but the website says it only fits the Crown Vic and specifically says it doesn't fit the Grand Marquis. I'm wondering if it means that the housing physically won't fit in the Grand Marquis, or if it means that one bolt doesn't align or something that can be easily modified.
The replacements are called the Spec-D Projector Headlights Ford Crown Victoria [w/ LED DRL] (1998-2011) Black or Chrome which I found on Redline360
Yo Matt,
I did some checking, and the headlight assemblies for the 1998 Vic vs. Marquis are completely different.
Can you provide the link to the website in question? I’d like to look at it.
-Chuck
@@PanzerPlatform Ah dang, with the cars being so similar I thought the headlights would follow suit. CZcams won't allow me to post the link, but if you search up:
Spec-D Projector Headlights Ford Crown Victoria [w/ LED DRL] (1998-2011) Black or Chrome Redline 360
it should be the first or so result.

I tried looking it up, their website is a mess.

I just found it.
They're $240 right?
Yeah those will not fit 1998 Grand Marquis.
installed n programmed new sensors with the smart sensor elite machine n still can’t get to reset the light. (yes i bought the oem tool also). any help?
What is the YEAR / MAKE / MODEL of your car?
-Chuck
Also how would i know to not do this if say one of the sensors are dead?
I do not understand your question.

99, i probably still have tubes in my tires :)
Hi-yo Silver,

2009 mercury grand Marquee I need to reset my tire tpms
Thanks for watching.

Will work with 2008 ford grand marquis ?
Right on Amjd,
Thanks for watching.
Yes, all Ford, (Ford, Lincoln, Mercury).
-Chuck
yo Chuck, I'm living in Cyprus and father have 2 Panthers 11 and 09 he's living in ksa can I win one.
Right on Free,
Better luck next time,
The drawing already ended.
-Chuck
Since I missed the giveaway opportunity, any recommendations to buy TPMS for me?
Right on Hussein,
I have never replaced, or serviced the TPMS System on my 2010 Grand Marquis.
I have not had any malfunctions yet.
If you're looking for the programming tool, they pretty much work all the same, so I would say buy the cheapest one.
-Chuck
@@PanzerPlatform thanks Chuck, and any one is compatible with Ford Panther caray..?
@@TheHabibalby
I'm not sure.
Do your research.
Is it possible to reset the tpms without any tools?
Yo Abdul,
Thanks for stopping in.
It depends on the car.
What is the YEAR / MAKE / MODEL of your car?

A 2009 base crown vic, just need to train my new spare tire sensor.
Someone told me that if i enter the training mood and turned the ignition to OFF, it will automatically be reset, is that true?
btw, Thanks for the quick response

Refer to page 153 of your 2009 Crown Victoria Owners Manual for more info on the TPMS system in your car.
Here’s a link to a PDF Copy;

The procedure you described will not work for;
2008-2011
Ford Crown Victoria
Ford Crown Victoria Police Models P71/P7B
Mercury Grand Marquis
Lincoln Town Car
You must obtain a similar tool, and follow the procedure shown in the video.
-Chuck
What about me I have 05 marquis.
Right on K,
Only the 2008-2011 Panther cars have the TPMS system.
So count yourself lucky, you don't have to deal with this nonsense. lol
-Chuck
Great video Chuck. Love the rant section. This country is full of idiots. That's why they're called idiot lights. Sorry I didn't participate this time. I just didn't really have much to say on this system other than mine of always been reliable. When we put the FR500 wheels on Isaacs car it cost me a shit ton of money to buy new sensors for them. Congrats on 2k scribers sir!
Right on Mr. Black,
Do you remember the Firestone / Ford Explorer disaster circa 1996.
It took the US Government 10 years to implement this regulation for the 2006 model year for new vehicles.
I refer to this entire debacle as a “10 year knee jerk reaction”.
When the batteries in my sensors give out, I'm going to disable the entire system on mt 2010 Marquis.
-Chuck
I'm Living in middle east and i have 2010 can I have one.
Right on Joseph,
Better luck next time the drawing already ended.
-Chuck
None of my Panthers have tire pressure monitoring systems. _I_ am the tire pressure monitoring system. I also run a tire and auto repair facility so I have no excuses.
Right on PP,
That's the point I was inferring to with my Tire Pressure Poll at the beginning of the week.
These devices are not intended as a replacement for regular preventative maintenance like checking tire pressure once a month.
"I am the Tire Pressure Monitoring Device". Well said. Lol
-Chuck
